If you're interested in the BEST places to travel & the BEST food to eat, then you've come to the right place!
I'm Edward and I live in Minneapolis with my wife Madina, and our two sons. We have a passion for travel and great food. On this channel we want to show you some of the most amazing places our family has been to (and show you what to avoid). We also both enjoy food so we will show you some of the best food we have eaten while travelling and at home.
If you have any questions ask me in the video comments or send me a message. Subscribe to learn how to live like King Midas (ok maybe everything you touch won't turn to gold, but we can get close).
@masail1010 I am coming to Istanbul with my wife in the first week of July and I am struggling to find a budget airbnb in a safe area. Could you please help me in directing towards any authentic airbnb you know? Thank you.
@@AsadPiracha-jj3ri this area was safe but not near a lot of the tourist areas. I will try to find the link, but most in the Besiktas Neighborhood shouldn't be too expensive and we felt very safe.
Yes, it was a bit stressful with the steep streets and sometime the Taxi drivers had difficulty finding the location. However, the views from the rooftop were amazing.
Hello Rufus! Glad a fellow gamer got it. I also am a big fan of Rockstar Games ever since the original GTA top-down games. I don't play much anymore now that I have kids but still enjoy the occasional game session.
@@AlmostMidasProductions rad , glad youre glad i got it , i sure do love gaming , been re collecting the originals ive been emulating for years, this one was a big addition for me , bought two , one has just the book and disk. so itll be complete in a couple days , this disk is nice so im glad at least one was up to par. You seem to be doing alright , beautiful family and you do a lot of cool things, you are doing it the right way.
I thought it was entertaining. There were parts that were definitely overpriced in my opinion, but I liked learning about all the plants and fruit they grow on the property. I was also very interested in the history of Dole. Not necessarily somewhere I would visit frequently but I am glad we went.
Very important warnings for those who will continue to travel to Turkey throughout the year and are considering renting a house from Airbnb. Within the scope of the new Law in Turkey; Renting a house from Airbnb for a period of less than 100 days has been included in the scope of 'Residential Rental for Tourism Purposes'. Tourists expect imprisonment and fines. Don't let your summer holiday be ruined. If the house is intended for tourism and is a residential flat, all flat owners in the same building must agree to obtain a permit. It will be mandatory to submit the receipt to the Ministry. In summer sites, if a person does not copy and complains about you, you will be imprisoned as a family. An administrative fine of 500 thousand Turkish Liras will be imposed on those who continue their rental activities for tourism purposes without obtaining a permit. For the person who rents a summer event from Airbnb and lives there. A fine of €5,678 and 12 days in prison may be imposed.
I’m looking for Airbnb in turkey Istanbul. Thank you for sharing your experience . Beautiful videos of your family MashaAllah . I’m planning to travel there soon with kids under 4. Are you guys from Minnesota?
Hello! Glad you found our videos. We enjoyed our AirBNB in Istanbul but I wasn’t super close to the main tourist attractions. Yes, we are from Minnesota. Traveling with kids can be tricky and stressful but also very rewarding.
you start with a harvest and then show a bounty then never show actually removing the sponge from the tray which is what I am looking for. ;) none of you folks are showing that. I suppose I am over thinking it and I can fish them out with a toothpick probably.
Around 1994 my van wouldn't start and a Russian guy from Minnetonka Orchards got the big white van they used and loaded my gear and drove me to the gig. I had hiim video tape me in action during the wedding. I owe him a tip, now that I think about it!
I did DJ a wedding ceremony out in the woods there in August 2016 and there was a Pokemon Gym out there, far from any public access- I put in a Vaporeon named Franny and it lasted in that gym all Winter as no other players went there to knock it out!
LOL I spend hours with Lyle collecting footage and writing songs for a Minnetonka Orchards video back in 1992 or so- one thing I did was capture a tree with a 2-second clip each day for about a year -best part was the Apple song!
That's awesome! We don't know the owners personally but thought it was a fun Orchard to visit. Great to see the barn animals and pick your own apples. Now I want to hear the apple song!

Awesome video! Very informative! Wife and I are celebrating 30 years in CSP in June. If you don’t mind sharing the info, which campground was site 17 in? Was it sylvan lake campground or another campground around sylvan lake? Also, how far was the hike to get to it? I’m low vision and rough terrain is somewhat intimidating to me. Would love to try and reserve it if we can, tho! Thanks, Ed! Best wishes!
Hello Troy, thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked our video! Our site was in the Sylvan Lake Campground, however I just checked their site and it looks like they may have renumbered the campsites. Looks like it is BB24 now. The hike to get there isn't too bad, it took us roughly 10 minutes with backpacks, but it does have a fairly steep incline. There are back-in campsites in that area where you can have your vehicle right nearby if that's safer for you.
@@AlmostMidasProductions - Oh no! The maps I’m looking at from their site is still showing it as 17! I hate to ask you to do this, but would you mind terribly commenting the link to the more current map you have? I’m planning on making reservations in the next few days for June and I’d greatly appreciate it if you could. If by some means you aren’t able to, I’ll completely understand. Thanks for the speedy reply on my previous question, my friend!
Yes, this is a great option for a quieter hotel. Although at night you may be able to hear some street noise from those that are being loud partying outside.
That's a good question. I'm not 100% sure but the river is quite wide. I'm not sure how wide and deep it is near the tombs though. I would recommend verifying with someone who runs a tour group in Dalyan.
Hi, looks nice. I am gonna go to IST this September and am looking for a good Airbnb. Could u share any good cheap airbnb? I am solo travelling. Thanks)
I tie my indeterminate tomatoes to 8ft. furing strips, they're inexpensive. I prune a foot of the bottom clear of leaves and prune all suckers. I put straw under them to retain moisture. I grow in a single stem when possible and fertilize monthly. I use olla jars. Ollas can be homemade out of unglazed clay pots. I hope any of this information is helpful.
Thank you for the info! We have been tying ours off but need to do more pruning. We should also try to fertilize more often, right now we just use fertilizer at the time of transplanting.
Definitely fertilize with a balanced NPK fertilizer when blossoms set. You'll need calcium to prevent blossom end rot. I didn't see any in your tomatoes.
You could also use the ladder at the back of the boat to enter. It was very easy and that is what most people used. There was also a water available at the back of the boat to wash the salt water off once you were done swimming. Highly recommend this company and boat.
Congratulations! It’s a beautiful city and Colorado is a wonderful state. I’m glad you enjoyed our video. Be sure to check out the tea house once when you have some time.
Unfortunately I'm not an expert on all TV models, but you may need to buy an adapter from Amazon or another online store if the TV doesn't have the Aux. Connection.
Hey guys - lovely to meet you and so pleased to hear that our videos helped you plan your trip. Maybe we'll see you in the US on our travels - Chris & Marianne x
Thanks again for everything Chris & Marianne! Fun to see you traveling in our home country now. Definitely let us know if you're in Minnesota. We have some great unique spots that would be fun to show you and your audience. We also have a spare bedroom and a place to park Trudy at our home.
Your USA tour went downhill when you drove almost all the way to the Keys and then turned around because there was an accident when all you had to do was wait a few hours or wait till the next day. You were in Florida which has far nicer beaches then Baja and you never went on one Beach, Florida has warm turquoise waters, white sands and palm trees, Baja is a desert with Pebble beaches in cold water. Then there was the fact that you lived on wraps, tacos and pizza that got really disgusting after awhile, then you skipped 95% of United States and some of the best areas and ended up going to some really stupid places, you were in Southern California never made one video of how beautiful it is. You were scared to death to go into Las Vegas but went to Mexico where the crime is 8 times higher. You started to do a lot of clickbait and you were lying a lot. Margaritas were not invented in Mexico they were invented in Texas. Then you complain about how difficult it was to ship your van and blamed it on the United States when it was actually your fault for waiting till the last minute. And then there is your forced fake phony laughing that gets old real fast.
@@AlmostMidasProductions it is close to ankara, the capital city. pity, almost no one knows it's existence. then next time it is wating for you. have a nice trip.
That’s a bummer! We went a couple years ago and the price was around $150-$200 a night. Still high but it’s a beautiful spot right next to Zion. You know what they say, location location location
Awesome! I’m sure you will enjoy it. It’s probably the favorite place I’ve visited. The weather is perfect every day and it’s like being on another planet. And thanks! Zachary is a little cutie. :)
I’m neutral on the gum chewing haha don’t mind it for the few clips there were but could see how it’d get in the way of the info being presented if it was the whole video. Good on you for being aware! But also, don’t overthink it too much :) Love all the footage of the turtles ❤️ can’t wait to see the next holiday one!
This was a awesome video! I watch all the hiking and camping videos posted on utube and this was one of the best! Thanks for sharing your adventure. I live in Omaha and have been to the black hills several times however never camped. Looking forward to going again this summer. Any additional information or advice would be appreciated! Thanks again for posting your adventure.
Thank you for watching and thank you so much for the very kind compliment! Share the video and let other people know about our channel please. The more subscribers and watch time we get, the more motivated we will be to continue to make these travel and camping videos! We will definitely be back to the Black Hills again, it is such a beautiful area. If you camp in Custer Park, make sure you reserve your camp site as early as possible, the good spots fill up fast. We really enjoyed kayaking at the lake too, so I would recommend that. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, and watch the forecast for bad weather (we almost got rained on during our hike). Also make sure you don't leave any food out. We didn't see any bears but there are some in the Black Hills so it's good to be extra careful.
