I have observed that if sales dates are same as in calendar (means sales happened in every date as mentioned in calendar, then it returns correct value. However, if sales didn't happen in any date then values does not return correct and value of same month is returned.
Dude you guys act like dragging them over is the problem. Why don't you all ever talk about solving the alerts and things that is what I am struggling with and also replacing the nulls and not with a first and last name either but real world problems.

For current month & Previous month sales I have used same DAX but My numbers are not correct. When I am brining in matrix table all the month of the year showing one value which is Grand total of sales of the year. This dax not showing monthly sales.
Hi Abhishek, Nice Video, Will I get same result if I use Quarter instead of Month. I have tried but the sales value of current QTR and PQ is not picking correct figure. It is picking whole year
You used a wrong example to show totals and grand totals in this video. You should have rather used sum values or count values instead of percentage it would have given more clarity on what is happening. In this example when you are adding column total or total actually it is not totaling but showing overall average which is not serving the purpose you want to show.
Hi Abhishek, upon using the same dataset and applying the same measure for MAX date I am getting a different date than yours.Your max date is 30 June 2022, mine is 9 September 2021. Why is it so?
It may be because of the transformation of date is not applied or if applied then it is not detecting correctly. Check your raw data and see what is the latest date present in the spreadsheet and then compare first 100 rows and see whether it is facing any formatting issue because of which it is not able to identify certain dates correctly.
@abhishek Agarwal: Dear I have one question if you please be kind enough to reply: how can i keep only day 1 Target of any type of data like for example: I have a target file in target is arranged is same for all five days mentioned each day similarly like day 1 Target is 100000, which is overall target for specific number of days, if i want to calculate 2 days achievement, but when using sum formula it calculates 2 days target, which i do not want, i want to keep only target for day 1 and make calculation based on target which is 100000, and coverage for all days. is there any way to do this as you explained in this video
Great video. As a market researcher: it would be nice if the buttom is not male/female but better 'sex' and the graphs will split into both categories, so the viewer can compare the difference easier. Best regards

Right and sorry about that. It is actually relatively simple. You need to take the dimension into slicer and then using filter, limit the slicer for only Male, Female and Unknown Gender and then put it on top of the chart. Then you need to control the interaction by going into format and click on edit interaction. That way you need to make sure that only that chart is filterable by slicer and not others. Let me know if you face any problem in doing this.
Excellent video as always. I’m trying to create a line visual where i can compare the running total of the current month vs previous month (or whatever date range i choose). Do you have any tutorials for something similar?
Comparison with previous periods is an interesting use case and something that I cover in my training like dynamic MoM or QoQ comparison. I do not have this as a public video but in the next few days I am posting videos that will give you the hint on how to get previous period values.
