Love these two. They are the smartest dudes in all of Football. To Gary's point: (1:14:05) Week 1-8: Bears’ pressure rate was 27.9% (which ranked 31st in NFL) Week 9-18: Bears’ pressure rate was 34.3% (which ranked 34.3% 24th in NFL) Montez Sweat arrival made all the world of difference :)))
@@PFFFantasyPodcast Given you ended the show on DB Sits, I appreciate you didn't end with some Sweet Chinn Music this time around. But question for this week: Start Chinn, King James (not really a question there), Julian Love, McKinney? I'll likely start 3 as I'll admit, I like the 3rd here more than Damone or Daiyan as a 4th LB.
@bradgilbert6718 lol yeah no sweet Chinn music this time but as far as starters go, I’d lean Derwin, Chinn, Love. I’m with you in that I’d rather just go with a third safety this week to avoid any shenanigans with the LAC LBs
Need 1 DB from Kyle Dugger or Camryn Bynum. Need 1DL and 1LB from Danielle Hunter, Jermaine Johnson, or Bobby Okereke. Currently starting Bynum, Bobby O. and Hunter, but I'm open to any change. Thoughts? Thanks!
I prefer Dugger over Bynum as the only change. Worried about how effective that Giants offense will be to allow for good tackle production from the MIN deep safety. Dugger should get decent deployment and I have a bit more faith in him for tackle production at least. Obviously an INT can change that but not something we can predict. Good luck!
What do you think of Harold Landry this year? I’ve got Hutch,Landry, Granderson. Considering dropping Landry for Diaby tbh. Obviously always starting Hutch but can’t decide on 2nd DL.
I like Landry a bit more than Diaby rest of season right now. Think he can be a solid volume play with a better history of pass rush production. Fine to pivot if needed but probably wouldn’t just yet
@@PFFFantasyPodcast thank you sir! Guess I’m gonna roll with Landry and Granderson this week. I agree with the stafford take tbh. Just hate sitting studs lol
Great podcast fellows. Love it! I Which LB should I add between Perryman, Reeder & Jordan Hicks (all will have green dot) Which Safety should I add Von Bell, Delpit or Brandon Jones Tackle 5 pts Assist 3 Sack 10 PD 5
Thank you! So, I would say Perryman and then Jesse Minter just came out talking about a potential rotation among all the LBs so I’m now waiting on Week 1 usage and off the Perryman start (how quickly things change 🙄). It would be between Hicks and Reeder for me. Probably Reeder so I can go Delpit at safety as well. Good luck!
I tend to prefer Quinnen but it’s close because of the positional advantage for Greenard. Fine with either there. I have Curl ahead this week. Good luck!
great tutorial..... unfortunately, I can't get my yahoo leagues to sync. anyone having this issue or have an idea how to solve? yes, I'm using the league ID (number) and not the custom id.
Traded Waddle and Harris for James Cook and Pitts. Did I win? 12 man Full ppr: My team QB: Daniels, WR: Wilson, Kupp, Rice, Dell and (waddle) RB: Gibbs, pollard, Hubbard and (harris) TE: Bowers
queen is going to do things this year. I am a Bengals fan as well saying this. With all the worry about their DL this is going to open things up for queen. Plus, He is getting to the age where his exp should impact his play. I think he out performs the statistics.
I just had my super flex draft and it was our first year doing it, so no one else changed their draft strategy. I was pick 2 and I felt if I started with a QB it would top off some other people, so I went Bijan number 2 and then when it came back to me for my second two picks I got Jaylen hurts and Josh Allen! What do y’all think of this team: Bijan, Hurts, Josh Allen, Laporta, Malik nabers, waddle, Devonta smith, Zamir white
I really like Brisker so I would if I could. Keeping in mind that any 100% snap safety has a chance to outperform the other on any given week/year but I like Brisker’s usage a lot more
I'm hating the fact that I drafted Ernest Jones. Then 3 days later he gets traded and I'm hearing terrible things about his projections after the trade that he's not even going to be in the top 15 to 20 now. Can you guys shed some light on this situation
Whats your guys mindset on how to approach this situation with Ernest Jones, Kenneth Murray, and Jack Gibbens snaps. In freaking out over it. Cause I drafted Jones 2 weeks ago then this trade happen and I don't think Jones will get the green dot. But idk what this snap share is going to be like???
Understandable. It’s most likely not ideal for Jones to start the year. It’s rare that a linebacker joins a new team and immediately wears the green dot or is a full-time player, though not impossible. I think he’ll get to 100% snaps in that defense eventually, which will take Gibbens out quite a bit. It just might take a few weeks as he acclimates to the defense. I’m fine benching him Week 1 for safer options and seeing how the snaps play out. I’ll have a video Monday breaking down all the key usage/waiver targets as well.
@PFFFantasyPodcast Thanks alot for your info. I've been paying attention to your guys channel to get input on IDP for linebackers all off season, I told a couple friends about your guys channel to subscribe.
I don’t think either have lost the starting roles just yet. I’m fine holding both for now. I wouldn’t necessarily start Baun Week 1 but McDuffie should be fine, just not likely a 100% snap role. Baun could be full-time but if you can afford to keep either on the bench to make sure then that’s what I’d do.
My #1 guy with a shot to unseat Maxx as #1 DL, it's Aidan Hutchinson, boys! He plays a massive snap count and there's positive sack regression incoming.
I got Bynum late and cheap in my dynasty league ($1 min bid)... Given my salary cap choices elsewhere he seemed like a low cost serviceable option even if he doesn't blow all the way up like he did last year. I believe in the Minnesota 3DB approach for fantasy production.
@BASykes1701 I definitely believe in the 3DB scheme, too. I picked up Metellus last year as well, and I'm betting on him to be the most productive DB there.
MACRI!!! You missed yet another opportunity to end the show with some Sweet Chinn Music. Addy would have loved the reference too. I'm going to have to rescind your Canadianess.
Yeah, I’ve definitely heard the buzz. It’s entirely possible that he is LB1 at some point this year but I have a hard time imagining that being the case to open the year just considering how much coaching staffs tend to value experience at the position above all else, for the most part. Still Reeder/Rozeboom for me for now but fine making a speculative add for Speights
Thanks a lot! Starting my first offense + IDP league (3 IDP slots) with other newbies and you seem like a very knowledgeable and valuable resource. I'm excited to follow your channel/podcast throughout the season. Keep up the great work! PS: Looks like you're a Wings fan. Hope the Wings can join my Devils in the playoffs this year!
Thanks! Hopefully I can help all season long! And yep, definitely a Wings fan. You gotta be feeling pretty good about your chances this year with Markstrom in net now! I’m just hoping for playoffs as much as I can over here lol
Eagles will wear Black helmets, white jerseys, black pants, the colours of the soccer team Corinthians that play in the stadium. Local laws actually prevent fans from wearing green in that stadium.
Eagles Packers is in Brazil, soccer stadium where the host team hate their rivals who wear green, so have told the NFL teams it's best to not wear green, lol
It is not true. Corithians told they prefrr that Eagles as the home team to not wear green because of the rivalry against Palmeiras (green team). São Paulo is not as dangerous as Philelphia, Baltimore and other cities in the USA. Chill bro.
Mccaffrey is due for a big letdown. He has put up 1806 touches in his 7 year career. Take away 2 short injury riddled years, and the dude has 1594 touches in 5 seasons. That equates to about 319 touches a season, including 668 touches, the last two seasons (334 a year). He is 28 and is already popping up with soft tissue issues, which is always a red flag. Be glad to go to work for PFF's fantasy department lol
I hear you for sure. It’s definitely possible and a huge workload to put on a running back, especially considering the injury history for the position in general. For me, we can assume most players deal with injuries during the season but it’s a lot harder to figure out how much time they’ll miss and things like that. It’s more about when he is healthy and on the field, ranking players by who has the best shot to deliver that RB1 potential and it’s hard to argue against him. But I definitely get the concern and fine passing on him for Lamb, Hill, whoever is also in that range if you got a bad feeling on him.
Lamar loses 3 lineman, a wr, rushing less each year, rarely outscores Mahomes , and Chiefs added 2 elite deep targets so you put Lamar above Mahomes. Seems like you’re guessing as much as I am lol.
