Is social media needed looking into societies and things? I’m hopefully coming in September (just getting my grades) but I don’t use social media (mental health reasons) and I’m worried I’ll lose out on a lot because of this? 🤔
Hi! With societies, they can all be contacted by email and I'm sure if you asked they'd be happy to keep you updated that way too. I'd recommend emailing the Student Union if you're really worried, here's all the best contacts: lincolnsu.com/your-union/contact-us :)
Hi! Please email the accommodation team with any questions you have as they'll be able to get back to you a lot faster with any queries you have: lncn.ac/queryform or give them a call if you need any answers asap: 01522 886 300

For the 2023 academic year, Cygnet Wharf is £7,200 a year for 40 weeks. For the full list of accommodation prices, you can visit the University of Lincoln's accommodation page: www.lincoln.ac.uk/studentlife/accommodation/ With the cost of living crisis, we sadly cannot give you an estimated cost of living. The University of Lincoln, however, does provide a range of financial support which may help: costofliving.lincoln.ac.uk/
Hi just wondering what is included within the kitchen ? Do you get enough cutlery, plates, pans, utilities ? Do you also get a mirror in your own ensuite ? Thank you
Hi there! Lincoln Courts apartments sadly do not provide kitchen utensils but do come with fully fitted kitchen/dining facilities with a cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and mop and bucket. En-suite rooms include a mirror over the wash basin. As these are quite small, students have recommended bringing your own over-the-door mirror. For more information and a 360-tour view of Courts, you can visit www.lincoln.ac.uk/studentlife/accommodation/lincolncourts/
Unfortunately, we don't have any videos of studio rooms at the moment, however, you can go to the University of Lincoln website where there is a 360-degree tour of the residences and spaces.

Hi Rachel:) Is it quite in St. Marks. I'm an international postgraduate and am worried it might be noisy when studying and sleeping. Also, does the international section differ from your room? Lastly, given the rooms are small, is there anywhere I could do yoga and dance that is a bit private?
Hi Dawn, Rachel here. St Marks is generally quiet. The more further back your building is from the main road, the quieter it is. However, the main road doesn't tend to be busy after around 7pm anyway so it shouldn't interrupt your sleeping. Every room in St Marks is the same so no worry about it being any different. I actually lived in International House (the postgraduate building) so your room will look the exact same as in the video. The floor space in the rooms are surprisingly large. You'll be able to fit a yoga mat if you wish but otherwise there are tonnes of space in the lounge. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
