You’re Brazilian, of course you will be biased. Both are incredibly useful and effective, but BJJ is only better if they have good wrestling skills, and enough standup to survive those brutal elbows/knees and clinch. At that point, they won’t even be a pure BJJ fighter anyway.
I jiu-jitsu especially. Im not great but I remember my first couple times on the mat. Like most guys, you wanna quit cause you're getting your ass whooped by everyone and dog ass tired. The gym Iw as at was suuuuper encouraging and motivating. 5 years later I cant believe I ever thought of quitting
Hahaha absolutely loved this! My daughter and I watched several times laughing so much over it. You guys are to funny! Merry Christmas to all the staff and coaching team at FCG! 🎄🎅🏼
Yeah but not, the first thing you learn in closed guard when you try to play it long enough is to change angle and go for a top lock, also the hand on the hips are a perfect setup for a wrist lock (Sankyo type), so this advice might be cool for white belts but not as a part of a more long lasting gameplan and not really effective as a strategy of defense inside the closed guard, a way better strategy would be the one of Mestre Pedro Sauer, or professor Henry Atkins, they have free videos about it here on youtube, you should check this out it's pretty amazing, ossa !
