Another great video Tim. Thats one of my goals is to go to an expo. Nice to see a quick review of the rig and the plans you have for it. Have you ever done the Washington BDR? If so can a SUV do it or portions of it?
I’ve done random parts of the each section and yea an suv would be able to do quite a bit of the trails. Most are unpaved gravel and forest roads. Some parts you’d want something high clearance though
I love the build man! If you have any more info on your experience living out of it for a few months id like to hear about that. The pros and cons and things you want to change.
Thanks! I'm actually going to be traveling and living out of my 4runner again starting next month so there will be plenty to go over. Pros: I get to see a lot of sunrises/sunsets Cons: finding somewhere safe to sleep at night
I just bought myself a 4Runner a few weeks ago. This video was super inspirational. I’m going to take after a lot of what you did, and add some of my own to it. You have a new subscriber!
@@joelito8 I got the ceramic coating from the dealership when I bought the 4runner. Not sure how I feel about it since I drive through narrow forest roads and the branches will scratch your car whether you have protection or not. I think it'll reduce the amount of scratches though
I got the ceramic coating from the dealership. I drive through narrow forest roads and I get scratches on the 4runner quite a bit. I think you'll get them whether you have the protection paint or not. It might be less with protective film though
Hey Tim really appreciate your content, finally buying a 2016 Quicksand next week and this kitchen video really helps point in the right direction for a build. Can I ask what water system and setup you have on that external molle panel? Keep up the great videos, cheers
Been wanting to go to Grizzly Falls. I’ll go with Gary only because if he wins the match up with Colby would be hilarious. I want jiri to win but think Alex will take it. Also I think he’ll move to heavyweight if he wins
This might seem like a silly question, but how come you bring a separate collapsible ladder to get inside of your RTT instead of the one you already have on your hatch door?
Good question lol kind of a dumb reason but when I used to have the iKamper I didn't like the ladder and how it stored so I bought a hatch ladder. The 4x4 Colorado is a lot more sturdy and stores well inside the tent. I still use the hatch ladder (also holds my trashbag) if I need to get in and out of the tent real quick but if I'm camping at one spot for a while I'll use the collapsible one.
Just stumbled upon your channel. Going to be following your journey and content. Your cinematography with the drone is awesome! I just picked up a, new to me, 2016 runner and am going to be building it for similar adventures!
Awesome video-as are all of your videos. Would you produce a video showing your Ecoflow alternator setup and install? I have the same vehicle model and Ecoflow products. Curious how you set yours up.
Another great video.. That's how you start a morning off with a ultra white monster lol. Nice to see Leavenworth I been there couple times for oktoberfest.
Should look into the brand costco sells. Essentially the same but 1k less. Costco membership would pay for itself with the savings if you don’t have one.
It's decent. It's definitely not pitch black inside. The canvas is orange and when the sun hits it glows. In a way, it's dim orange light so it wakes you up soothingly
I have a portable 3000mAh power bank from anker that the led strip plugs into. As for length it depends if you want to wrap the entire tent or just one side. I had a 8ft strip and it wrap around the front window. But if you want to wrap it around all 3 windows. I’d go with 20ft or more
Wow! Sai Kai dao 😊 I think that ecoflow charger is very specific to only some of their units. It’s not for batteries in general nor for other power stations.
Hiii Tim,Your 4Runner looks cool, You looks are good at hands on aspect and take video ,do you wanna change your 4runner taillights looks? if yes, let me know, maybe i can try to apply for a pair of taillights for you for free.then you just need take a install video share at your page and mention us Just enough.oh by the way,I'm a worker from Amazon sold for LED Car Lights, also we sold 4runner Taillights
Really great video. Love the excellent shot variety when filming the 4Runner, as well as the colorgrade and overall edit. Now I gotta go check out that trail!
No restrictions for the type of drones. However I will say a ton of spots have a no drone zone sign. I overheard a tour guide say you can fly if you launch the drone outside of the sign. Skogafoss is one of those spots
@@whoiskyran1446 Right now weekend warrior rig but in August will be living out the 4runner and seeing how it goes. Still testing out the essentials at the moment
