Dr. David, I just listened to Liszt's version of Schubert's Ave Maria, played by Valentina Lisitsa prior to listening to your recording. It is very difficult to appreciate anything or anyone after Valentina, as I consider her (in my humble, amateur opinion) 2nd to Horowitz. Of course, we dont have recordings of Franz Liszt himself. :) Your rendition is spectacular. Thank you so much for the privilege of having listened to you. I think I'll pull out that Schubert music.
