Sublime, meraviglioso celestiale.
I’m in awe of any one who plays a musical instrument….i know nothing about how one constructs a tune, timing, placing of notes, and actual reading of a music sheet. Keep playing, as I think you’re brilliant!
After listening to Handel’s Israel in Egypt and knowing that Mozart has been inspired by that piece, went to read an article all about the influences in Mozart’s requiem and then I came to listen this marvelous music.
Music In The Making: Classical Comrades Celebrate National Friendship Day with a pair of musical mates, Haydn and Mozart. By Anya Wilkening [Houston Public Media]
Alle Musikrezensionen sollten in der italienischen Sprache abgefaßt werden, das ist die einzige, die der Sprache, die Gott spricht, wirklich gerecht wird! 😄
Here, in my opinion, we are seeing a Rare interpretation.... Haydn's "few notes", with its geometric structures, are Clear, Balanced, and really full of Beauty and Pathos....all visible in the ecstasy of Mr. Brendel's facial expressions.... Pure Art ✨
Haydn is Sublime Beautiful Melodic Inventive Fascinating as Always!!! Mr. Brendel is probably the 2nd Best Haydn player after the also Very Good Emmanuel Ax!!! May God Bless y'all Richly and Jesus Peace!!! ❤😮😂🎉
The Haydn 81st is one of my favorite symphonies. It has enormous energy and wonderful charm. This Hogwood recording is outstanding although the short lived by Antal Dorati recording, originally on Mercury, is still the best. It is available for download but it is hard to find.
A comment that neatly demonstrates that an opinion is a judgement not necessarily based on knowledge and understanding. Everyone is entitled to an opinion however ill-informed, but in this case, your comment is simply wrong; if you don’t like the sonata - just say so.
Very harpsichordian (clearly cut and articulated), Haydn recalling Scarlatti influence, while at the same time presaging the great gestures and exploration of Beethoven. Schiff's performance is neat, amazingly balanced and well-voiced. Given that this is Haydn's last piano sonata (and he never saw fit to write another), however, I prefer to go at it all guns blazing. We're not going to get another, and Haydn deserves to be remembered as more than a 'linking' composer - father of the sonata, symphony and string quartet. Please forgive my enthusiasm! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OVi82IJJbsU.html
A new circle in hell must be created for people who upload videos without crediting the people in them. This video would be pretty unwatchable if it only featured the person named. Which orchestra is this? Are they just nobodies? Servants beneath your notice?
