Mellon is one of the terms for a friend in Sindarin. There are are a few elven languages, with Quenya being the original one, mainly used by those born in Valinor. Funny how I got a few ones correct including the Eru Iluvatar one, but got many wrong where (at least one of) you got them right. This show hits differently. For some reason, I never expected the story to be this deep, but, oh boy, it sure has resonated with me for a long time. I have never seen a story that deals with the contrast of two vastly different cultures in a way that was explored as thoroughly as Shogun. Great character study. Atmospheric cinematography. Very patience. Full of emotional gut wrenching moment that will forever stay with you. Fantastic!
Jack is a great character but his character only gets deep toward the end of the show. Season 1-3 there's not much interesting about him. Last season is where he really shines the most. Locke is interesting for the entire show. I think that's why you guys feel more towards him than jack. Personally i prefer other characters than locke but I get it

When I first watched this franchise I always think it ended on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes or War for the Planet of the Apes now, I think it should end on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. A 9 film franchise is too much for me.
It does seem excessive but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. So far they've all been varying degrees of good and I would really be interested to see how far they take the story over another five films.

33:13 Actually the name Shimotsuki is kinda important, you are onto something here. However it doesn’t get addressed until chapter 900 or so. Many things in one piece are set up hundreds of chapters in advance and the deal with the Shimotsuki clan is one of these things. I don’t expect the LA the ever get to that point sadly.
you guys mentioned that y'all live in dallas texas? well i live there too and as far as im aware, those e coli outbreaks never occurred in chipotle near dallas. all the locations are clean. the chicken al pastor bowl with white rice, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese and lettuce is my favorite thing to get there and also a steak bowl. and also i had mcdonalds, cicis, and jack in the box a lot during my childhood and during my teenage years i had little caesars and taco bell and have become my favorites for that reason. however mcdonalds in terms of food quality has fallen off a bit recently

Gotta recommend one of the all time GOATs of anime Neon Genesis: Evangelion and at least the movie End of Evangelion as you wont understand what really happens at the end of the series without it. This series literally changed anime forever and people refer to the artform as pre and post eva. Given that Anno is now no longer among the living it is even more fitting to watch this masterpiece.
Part of me wishes that Euphy wouldn't have been able to fight off the geass power and forced suzaku to fight her until he killed her just cause that would be such a crazy heartbreakingly terrible thing to happen. How much more would he hate Lelouch if that had been the case
Ohh and on the note of her fighting the geass its actually because of her bloodline. Geass affects people differently and their DNA actually matters for this. The royal bloodline is factually special in this regard which is why Euphy and Nunnaly are they only two people in the whole series to be able to fight it and why charle's and lelouch's manifestation of geass powers are so strong.
4th book = horny fan fiction written on an internet forum by some fan of Cixin Liu. that ended up getting published by Cixin Liu's publisher. Cixin Liu allowed it to publish because he wants to support new scifi writers but it's not canon. Book 1 = Auggie Salazar, Da Shi, Ye Wenjie, Mike Evans, Vera Ye, Tatiana. Book 2 = Saul Durand, Raj Varma Book 3 = Jin Cheng, Thomas Wade, Jack Rooney, Will Downing Episode 1-5 = Book 1 Episode 6-7 = first few chapters of Book 3 Episode 8 = first few chapters of Book 3 + first few chapters of Book 2 + final scene of Book 1
You guys should watch "Claymore" if you like Berserk. It's one of the anime that's been forgotten over the years. Very brutal, violent and has some of the best reveal moments in all of anime.
Fish thing is still used today on Burns. The title use is Zeff Jolly Roger the duck in the O in SBS Oda answer questions or draw some thing which he did different Jolly Roger included all the Straw Hats.

Completely agree with Jeff on the Star Wars stuff (though I gave up on them last year and am not expecting to go on with the franchise ) . Really glad that you(Jeff) watched the rest of psycho-pass , I also still enjoy that franchise despite people not liking the rest of the seasons and movies. The only animes I haven't seen from these lists are Detective Conan and Please Teacher. My 3x3 would be Death note, Attack on Titan,Fate Zero, Re:Zero,Made in Abyss ,Psycho-pass ,Ghost in the shell:Stand alone complex ,Konosuba and Mirai Niki/Guilty Crown. Recomendation : Vinland Saga if you haven't watched it yet - I'm not Interested in Vikings lore and history at all but this anime still got me .Too bad we didn't get to see the reactions you've recorded , but good luck with the new format 👍 , will be waiting for the next video .
That's a great 3x3! I still need to watch Re:Zero. It's been on my list since the beginning and my wife loves it so maybe I'll watch it with her. I will probably do Vinland Saga on my own since Blake is burned out on Viking stuff but I hear nothing but great things so I'm very interested. Thanks for the comment and the recommendation!
