This is the first time I saw an onboard of the actual track instead of a sim. I don't want to call it bad, but SouthPawRacer certainly didn't exaggerate...
I think the 348 is a nice looking car which has aged well and the last ones made before the 355 especially with some major updates are great cars. Not keen on those aftermarket wheels though.
3:46 The first Ferrari I fell in love with was the 360 which I didn't warm up to until 2001 - a couple years after release. I was 18. For the 430 it took even longer until I saw one in person maybe a decade or more later. I've yet to fully appreciate the 458 but give it some years : ) In my opinion that is something special about Ferrari's aesthetics. One may not enjoy a particular model at first but given time I think most models find their appreciation. These days I'm loving the 308 and 328 which didn't capture my attention so many years ago (I grew up a musclecar fan + Porsche 944 & 928 fan). I now think even someone who never saw a 308/328 would appreciate it. Where I live there are many modern Ferraris and Lamborghinis, not to mention Mercedes are as common as water (I'm in Germany) but I would certainly not turn down a 430 if I had the means !
Personally I don't have a problem with lack of power steering on lightweight cars - I had few funds to repair my 80's Porsche so it was a low priority; I disengaged the pump. It's a free gym arm workout !
even Tonale has no purpose. After giulia and stelvio, alfa romeo should either go for top end sports car,or go back to revive smaller cars as mito and giulietta
The 458 in this video has the same rims on our 458 rebuild what are the tire sizes on them as I believe these are 488 rims. I’m not sure the 488 tire size won’t rub a little when doing tight turn. So was wondering what this car has on it? Thanks so much
A pleasure to get the onboard view out of my dream car - very fast and old tyres make a huge difference. Drove this course with a F458 Challenge many years ago but not under 2 Min.
Awesome onboard! The wide-angle camera inside the cockpit gives such a good sense of the speed you're carrying. Wish all onboards were shot this way. Fantastic driving too, really hustling the car through the corners and using all the track. Really great example of trail braking through the last corner too. Thanks for posting this!
its Hilarious as a SIm Driver...i drive the 296 GT3 and test Portimao over a week and did a 1:43:2 and everything looks so similar its like looking on Iracing :D throttle, Braking, Gear and even when the rear comes a bit...
what improvements could one make to the 348 design? mechanical automatic roof stowing. new gizmos. make it more timeless inside. perhaps do something wiht the lights. just new tech. ?any suggestions? I like the double round lights. perhaps there is a way to fit those in here
I have 2019 brz ts it has a header and a tune. My neighbour has a 328 and my car is faster in every gear. They really should have done better with this car. Its not until the 360 that ferrari got it right. Thats a ferrari The 328 is just not good at all
