Awesome mate I realy do need to get around to watching and getting Naked Lunch as it's the only one i haven't seen yet. It's hard to pic a favourite i love so many of those films.VideoDome is probably my favourite one too.
@DeonCrawley It is very surreal and weird although in a good way, yes Videodrome is brilliant. Thanks again, appreciate you watching and commenting mate
Loving part 1 of the cd collection mate.I would say music was my first love lol.Great taste in music mate. When it comes to picking my favourite Beatle records its a tough one.I would say Revolver ,Rubber Soul, Abbey Road are in my top three. Anyhow can't wait for part 2 🤟🤘
Great collection matey.. big fan of The Brood.. disturbing ending like you say but such a good film.. quite a few youve shown there I need to get back into the collection again 😎👍
Great ranking video Tim 😀🍿🎸🎶 DC one of my fav directors; love his work; I say ‘Scanners’; ‘The Fly’; ‘The Dead Zone’; ‘The Brood’ are my fav Cronenberg films 😀
@samglendenning9884 Thanks for watching, appreciate it Sammy. I should give Scanners a rewatch as haven't seen it in years, same with The Dead Zone. The Fly and The Brood are classics though, think you'd enjoy Videodrome if you haven't seen it buddy
@roybarratt5609 Thank you Roy, I get that and it is good to know someone who isn't as big a fan of him enjoys The Fly and History Of Violence as I assumed those would be his two most popular films as they are more conventional and the best technically from him
Yeah big beatles fan , a mate you like drum and bass im a original raver from 88 to 94 got loads of vinyl from tunes from that era acid house warehouse rave detroit techno , we did illegal allnighters best time of my life mate 👍🏻 💊😅🕊️
@stuartgeorge2324 Don't get how anyone doesn't like The Beatles unless they have no (Rubber) Soul 🤣. Wow, good to know you're a raver, I have listened to acid techno, jungle and DnB a long time but never got to go to any of those illegal raves, pretty jealous Stuart
Excellent Part One Tim 😀🍿🎸🎶 I do really like SGT Peps; but not one of my fav Beatles albums aswell; I say ‘Rubber Soul’; ‘Revolver’; ‘Abbey Road’ & ‘Let It Be’ I put above it; SGT Peps still really good tho 😊 Dark Side & WYWH are my Top 2 fav Pink Floyd albums; I remember listening to Dark Side for the first time and it absolutely blew me away; I was 14 when I started to get really into Music and Pink Floyd were one of the first bands I got into 😀 Look forward to Part 2 bud 😀👍
@samglendenning9884 Great choices Sammy, yeah Revolver probably my favourite The Beatles album and Wish You Were Here my favourite Pink Floyd so nice to know we've got similar tastes. Appreciate you watching matey, David Bowie, Roxy Music and a few others next
Wow those shelves look superb mate 👌🏻 made me want to look into picking some of these up now 😅 Yet another video of urs ill be keeping in a playlist to go back to. Thanks for rhe mention too 🙂👍🏻
@popcornandhorror you're welcome, appreciate the support. Think you can pick these up pretty cheap, got a lot of these in CEX and only cost a few pounds each. Thanks buddy
That is one great Tartan collection you have there Tim. I don't think I own many titles under that label. Anyway, please check your e mail , I need your postage address for Timesweep dvd 👍👍
@@timcole418 I may have your e mail address wrong it's been a while since last. Just contact mine and we'll take it from there. You can find my address on my "about" page
Hi Tim thanks for the shout out and well done on 100 subs. Without doubt that the best Tartan Asia collection I've seen. Dumplings has been on my radar for a while. One I need to see.
Hey thanks for the shout-out matey.. much appreciated 😎👍 Awesome collection there matey.. I've a load of TAE on my watch lists to get back again with rebuilding my collection.. some of my fav films 👍😎
Hi Tim , Congratulations on the 100 Subs 👊 Cheers for the Shoutout too, Appreciate it Some excellent Tartan Asia movies in your collection..I need to put mine together to see what I have Great video Mate
@metalmartymac Thanks matey, thought I had them all but a viewer said I am missing one or two so got to look into it. Picked a lot of these up second hand and a few pound each
Loving the collection mate. 88 films is one of my favourite lables got a little collection going of them about a hundred or so . My favourite line from them is The Italian Collection one collection i wish i could complete but unlikely will some of the prices of the ones I'm missing wowzers!!! That Phantasm set looks awesome by the way. And those second sight realises are dam they look good but very pricey and go out of print fast.
@DeonCrawley Thanks, have you got a video showing your collection? Yes my 88 Films collection is pretty limited so far. Looking to bulk it up though, yes it is hard to justify paying ludicrous prices matey
Hey Tim; well done on getting to 100 subs bud 😀🍿🙌🎸🎶 There are a lot of Tartan titles I need to get clued up on; I think you definitely done this side label justice with this excellent collection video; couple of these titles I added to the watchlist and oh yes loved ‘Audition’ mate; man that scene was riveting stuff indeed 😱 ‘Battle Royale’ & ‘Oldboy’ are both cracking films; great video Tim; thanks so much for the shoutout; I would definitely also recommend Warren (Goose’s Movies) aswell; he’s a good friend of mine with a superb channel and like ourselves; really into World Cinema aswell 😀
@samglendenning9884 Thanks Sam and appreciate the support. Yep gonna check him out and subscribe, was hard to narrow these down as so many interesting and diverse films on this label. A Tale Of Two Sisters I meant to show and only showed 9 films, also Joint Security Area, R-Point, Three Extremes Part Two and Dark Water are films that almost made the top ten
Great video idea mate 👍🏻 as u say these kind of topics do give the chance to dust off a more random selection of movies to show and talk about which is always nice 😁👍🏻
@metalmartymac Thanks, checking out your videos as I am a big fan of metal. Gonna do some videos on my music collection including my metal albums. Cheers matey
@XFile2708 Thanks matey and a lot of these are my favourites due to nostalgic reasons so mightn't have liked them as much if I saw them recently. Appreciate you watching and commenting
@roybarratt5609 Thanks Roy and was very hard to narrow them down and some really good one I have left out, was meant to do a top ten but was too hard 🤣
Great list of favourites Tim 😁👍🏻 Pans labyrinth is one that I watched once when it came out and didn't get on with it BUT I am definitely wanting to give it another go as on paper it's definitely my kind of movie. A big chunk of the rest of ur list are also firm favourites of mine too. And so glad when u mentioned step brothers, 😅 I absolutely love that movie, which is odd as I wouldn't class my self as the biggest will ferrel fan. But that one really gets me 😂
@popcornandhorror Thanks for watching and commenting, yes I could see why people don't get on with Pan's Labyrinth. Didn't expect to laugh at Stepbrothers as much as I did but it had me in hysterics and wasn't the biggest Will Ferrel fan before watching it. So tough narrowing it down to 15 films though 🤣
Fantastic list Tim 🤩🙌🍿🎸🎶 I need to check out ‘Bad Taste’ & ‘Brain Dead’; there both free to watch on RU-vid 😎 I try to pick up Physical Media over streaming; but even the DVDS are rather rare now I believe 😱 ‘Oldboy’ is excellent; love love JC’s ‘The Thing’ one of my fav films of all time 💙 ‘Jaws’ is an all time classic 🦈🍿 Shawshank is my second fav film of all time 😀 ‘Predator’ is ace; looked great on the big screen when I saw it back in April 😎 Superb list of films Tim; you got excellent taste; hope you have a great week and keep up the awesome work mate 🙌
Thanks Sam, I have had the DVD of Brain Dead about twenty years. Worth watching on RU-vid though as Don't see a blu ray or 4K coming out. Cheers matey, have a great week yourself
@@timcole418 I actually reveal my favourite film of all time in my next video mate; but of course you are more than welcome to have a guess Tim; it’s on the Criterion label 😀 Oh nice mate; 4K or Blu-Ray potentially in the works for ‘Brain Dead’ & ‘Bad Taste’?
@samglendenning9884 Ah, shall keep a watch out when your next video comes out. I don't know The Crierion label that well so hard to guess although would say a British Film?. Sorry I meant to say don't know when a blu ray or 4K is coming out for Brain Dead, Bad Taste or Meet The Feebles unfortunately. Thanks as ever for watching and commenting Sam
Great list , yeah Shawshank redemption isva masterpiece 🎥 i prefer home alone 2 myself mate 👍🏻 i did my top 30 favourite movies list few months ago man it was hard 😮 predator just missed out, never seen oldboy mate, yes the Thing is just fantastic stuff 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Very nice pickups 🛻 Tim, I loved Civil War and really thought it was well done as well as Abigail good one time watch for me. Very nice additions to your collection
Some nice additions there matey.. Mute Witness is on my radar still.. hard decent things about it overall 😎👍 Loving that Thing Steelbook.. although steelbooks are a rabbit hole im trying not to disappear back down 😂
@XFile2708 I thought Mute Witness was amazing, really surprised how enjoyable it was. I don't have many steelbooks, mostly own them if they are my favourite films which The Thing is so got a few versions of it, ha
Some lovely boxsets there matey.. I really do miss my Second Sight boxsets.. probably only had a dozen or so at the time but they're always superb quality and full of content.. Need to get a few back again if I can find some locally in CEX not stupidly overpriced lol
@XFile2708 Thanks again matey, I find Second Sight aren't much cheaper in CEX than they are in HMV or off the Second Sight website. How come you sold your old Second Sight and Arrow, you needed the space or the money? Guess it is fun seeking them all out again though
@@timcole418 just personal circumstances at the time matey.. needed to move house as well so took the decision to clear the couple of thousand movies I had and go fully digital... Hated every minute of it.. nothing to collect and 9 times out of 10 I couldn't find the movie on streaming I wanted to watch 🙄
@@timcole418 yes Ive only been rebuilding the collection since the start of this year but approaching 1000 titles already 🙈🤣 Starting to concentrate a bit more now on blu ray and boutique stuff again.. got a dedicated boutiques pickup video to record this coming Tuesday so it should be on the channel weds afternoon all being well 🤞😎
@XFile2708 wow, that's impressive. Boutique labels are expensive though the quality and packaging and extras makes it worth it. Limited edition boxes by Arrow and Second Sight are my favourite although £30-45 per release is a lot
Lovely collection matey.. Arrow and Second Sight are my fav X2 distributors for here in the UK 😎👍 I'm still rebuilding my Arrow collection.. I used to have a couple of hundred Arrow titles across regular releases, steelbooks, boxsets, 4k limited edition boxsets etc.. big regret now having cleared them all out a few years ago 😢 lol. All the fun rehunting stuff out again though 😁👍
New subscriber to your channel today after seeing you recommended on Ashs latest video. I'm back collecting physical media again after trying to go digital for a couple of years and hating every minute of it lol I'm documenting rebuilding my physical collection again over on my channel if you fancy checking it out 👍 Looking forward to catching up on some of your other videos..
Great pick ups there mate, I have the same Ring set and the vengence trilogy (older one on ur shelf) the newer design looks great with that lift style box! I'll need to look into that santa sangre film 🤔
@popcornandhorror Thanks, yes it is quite original packaging from Arrow with the lift. Santa Sangre weird although worth watching due to the cinematography and hypnotic film making even if the story isn't conventional. Cheers mate
Hello Tim what a fantastic haul 😀 👌 all fantastic stuff. My Vengeance trilogy is a non Arrow bluray set in a normal case. Do you know if that lift set is a newer transfer to the old arrow bluray set? I'm with you with Oldboy. A real favourite of mine too. ❤
@@roybarratt5609 Thank you Roy, appreciate you watching. Think they came out at the same time so guessing the same transfer but can have a check in a bit. Think I have seen that trilogy in the shops, I have them individually on Tartan Asia Extreme although DVD. Yes great film. JSA, thirst and Cut also among my favourites by Park Chan-Wook
@@roybarratt5609 Looks like it is the same transfer, both say "4K restoration from the original camera negatives supervised by the director Park Chan-Wook". Same aspect ratio and audio aswell, although the Oldboy limited edition says brand new 4k restoration from the original camera negative they seem to be the same and both do have the extra documentary disc
Have a fantastic weekend Tim; awesome haul 😀🍿🎸🎶 ‘Baby Driver’ is excellent; might just be my fav Edgar Wright movie 😎 I definitely want to check out more of Jodorowsky’s work; oh yes ‘El Topo’ & ‘The Holy Mountain’ is a wild ride 😱😂 Both fantastic films; but definitely have to be in the right mood for those films. Keep up the excellent work Tim; I love to see your Music collection at some point 😀👍
