Same poor demonstration of a Smoothing Plane as you did on a Block Plane. Probably reasonable quality product which is more than you say for the marketing/demo
If that is the best you can do to demonstrate your Block Plane I would give up. Music and video does not replace words and video. If you believe in your product then put it in the hands of someone who knows how to use it and can explain. Have you no people within the company that can do that or are you just trading on the name Spear & Jackson?
Looks shorter than my normal tree loppers to be honest. I am looking for something other than my chain saw (in addition that) for very very high up. Pity we don't have loppers on a drone as yet.
This is the worst demonstration video I’ve ever seen. What’s the point of making a video if nobody to do with the production has a clue how one of these trowels is meant to be used. Scraping furrows and shovelling earth are not what this is designed for. It is for planting bulbs originally in long rows. Plunge the trowel into the soil push back and pull forward to create a cone shaped hole, then the action of doing the next one closes the previous one. Not at all how it is used in this very poor video.
Wrong wrapping of the PTFE. always wrap in the same direction as the threads. ie: rightie tightie. you don't want the tape to try and unwind as you tighten the fitting . I've also always used a rule of 3. ie: 3 wraps. if you do 21 you risk splitting your fitting before you can even tighten it. Not sure why i even watched this but boredom will drive you to do strange things :).
I am wondering why no one has done a review on the Spear & Jackson manual push lawn mower yet - I see Argos have one for sale at £90 but I'm not sure...
Is it safe to use this on shrubs and trees? I keep reading comments that anvil loppers can only be used to break down dead wood because it crushes stems of live plants.
Is love to plant a star jasmine on my garden arch.. Would I zigzag the stem to get it to flower all over as the arch is no where near as wide as a wall
You have applied the PTFE tape in the wrong direction, when you screwed back on your fitting it will have just unwound the tape l. Your tap fitting is a right handed thread so you need to wrap it clockwise.
@@jonwu honestly even the premium end ones look horrible compared to real grass, I don't really get having artificial grass if you don't live in either an absurdly cold or absurdly hot climate
