The Temecula Valley Symphony (changed from Inland Valley Symphony in 2015), located in Southern California (Southwest Riverside County) has grown in size and artistic achievement. Now in its 26th season, and under the baton of Maestro John Mario Di Costanzo, the Symphony is being hailed as a leading cultural attraction in the region, and was voted #1 in Best Live Entertainment Venue by readers of Inland Empire Magazine in their 'Best of the I.E. poll 2016'.
A 60-member community Symphony, sprinkled with professionals, semi-pros, and musicians continuing to share their talent, TVS is rapidly becoming known as a regional symphony, attracting musicians from throughout the Southland. The volunteer base of musicians who dedicate their time and talent to the Symphony come from various regions of Southern California including the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego.
This recording has been very helpful to me. I've been having a very tough time knowing my place in the music when playing this piece. I've been doing well, following this recording while looking at my sheet music and making notes. Thank you to Inland Valley Sym Orch. for posting this.
I can’t hear him the orchestra too loud terrible terrible acoustics. Whoever the person is running the microphones better fire him I get somebody better.
I am here to see if that final flute part can actually be played at tempo, because I'm tasked with playing the 1st part. I am happy to see that It. Can. Be. Done. And well-done, by the way!
Please take a close look at the woman in the background playing violin (between the left-most trumpet and middle). I was fortunate enough to play with this orchestra for many years, and let me tell you… this woman was the absolute backbone of this wonderful orchestra. She passed away a couple of years ago, and it left a big hole in the organization, but it still thrives. She truly was the hardest worked orchestra manager I’ve ever worked with, and perhaps ever will. RIP Sharon Rollinson ❤️
