THROWBACK - formed in 2017, is a 5-piece Hardcore combo from Austria.
Instead of trying to fit in a specific scene or genre, Throwback created their own “Hardcore” genre.
February 2018: the first EP dropped and you can clearly say, that´s straight in your face hardcore.
2019 followed their first studio album “Value of Freedom” - entailing some energetic music videos.
All the sudden, the Corona pandemic shut the world down. The boys went through enormous amounts of online meetings, the result was a completely new stile.
The breakdowns went heavier, the vocals nastier and you could say, the atmosphere became very dark.
So is the new Album “VICIOUS INSTINCT”. Influenced of many subgenres, the album sets new milestones for the band.
The first international inquiries were not long in coming.
Followed by the brutal single “ISKARIOT”, Throwback opened again a new door to a world of heavy music!
