Hi I have been working as a Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry my starting salary was 16k 3year back but presently Im having 42k . But the good thing is 5days working and 2 days wfh although travel is there for somedays. Honestly speaking im not looking for govt job. neither i have tried much i know some private companies from Germany Italy US Japan their work life balance and perks are better than any govt job . Ps Mine is strict 5days working no disturbance on saturday & sunday

1. Public Sector Banks also don't follow stipulated working hours except for Workmen cadres. 2. Work pressure is tremendous in PSBs. 3. Targets are unrealistic in all PVT and Public Sector Banks. 4. Transfer policy sucks in PSBs. 5. No extra monetary benefit for extra work. 6. Customer Complaint is also taken seriously in PSBs. Yes workmen unions do matter in PSBs and management hates that so much.
