It's interesting to see how Ronaldo's technique has evolved over the years. In his earlier days at United he would often use powerful knuckleballs to stun keepers. Unfortunately, after his knee was seriously injured, the technique became increasingly difficult to execute. While Ronaldo's free kick accuracy wasn't too bad for the first couple seasons at Madrid, he slowly began to rely more on getting lucky deflections and unforced errors from the keepers. Occasionally, the ball would even find its way in between the players that composed the wall. Eventually, these tactics would also cease to be effective due to Ronaldo's aging legs and inability to supply the adequate power. Its sad to see that part of him fade away.
10 games 4 wins for real madrid 3 draws and 3 wins for borussia dortmund 19 goals for real madrid 16 goals for dortmund great rivalry betwen these two giants in the last 12 years hope for a good final like the other games they have played may the better team wins❤
Oblack was definitely sold, no goalkeeper would normally react the way he did on the penalty shootouts. All Madrid players were shooting right and he didn’t care he just standing still or pretending to dive the other way. And one time he move right he barely even moved. It’s sad how important games like this could be rigged
ronaldo as of rn has 64 and messi has 65 its so close they're so proficient in every aspect of the game they will without a doubt be in the top 5 of most free kicks oat at least, once they finish their career which is crazy.
where are the comebacks from the 70s and the 80s? it's there that the legend of the combacks was born. Sloppy work, my friend. ps: the Chelsea comeback the same year they won the 14th? The wolfsburg comeback a few years prior? etc etc. Very sloppy.
