I got the opportunity to visit Golconda Fort today. It is really magnificent. Although I didn't know much history about it while visiting, I was really mesmerized by the architecture. After getting to know the history behind it, I am even more impressed.
Beautiful fort, it was built by king Rudra Pratap of Kakatiya dynasty, it also has a temple built by kakatiyas which was renovated by other hindu dynasties which ruled the area.
