I wanted to purchase skates to add the Endless 90 ES Frames. I wasn't sure what BOOT to get. Which wud you say is better wit the ES Frame: The Rollerblade Twister boot or the FR1???
Hey. I have had bad luck with the twister models they never really fit my foot right. Not sure if the new XT models fit better, Roller blade is very good quality, the RBs i own fit fine. The endless frame was designed around FR skate so it sits on the skate perfect. I'd go with FR or try new rollerblade lightening.
@flownyc6165 Yes! Im gona start with the LIGHTNING!!! I realized that all I need is a lightweight comfortable boot. The FR1 boot is too clunky and the Twister is HEAVY AF. I tried on the lightning and the boot with liner is comfortable and lightweight. I'll add my Endless ES and Hydro 90's and be on my way...Thanks
Hi there, I've been eyeing these frames for a long time, but I'm not used to a rockered setup, so I have a question: how can you compare these frames to conventional flat setups, such as 3*110 mm? I have significant experience with 3*110 frames by FR skates and Flying Eagle, which are flat, and I want to upgrade to 4*110 for long distance skating in the city setting (as I want the 4th wheel in the back) so I do jump, but not as tricks, with your time using them, would you recommend these? I don't feel that cons you outlined will be critical for my style of skating. It would be really great to hear your opinion, because they aren't popular where I live and I have nowhere to try them out, thanks a lot for your video) Thanks in advance!
Glad to see tyler1 is with you! When you downsized, did you end up going down a shell size or just the liner size? I'm a 28.5 MP which is the low end of their size 10 shell, if I downsize it'll jump down to their size 8 shell which seems sketchy...
twister edge has not been comfortable for me, foot length around 293mm. It depends on your foot shape some people enjoy them. This year they changed the shell a bit for more comfort but I have not had much luck with the last 2 years I have tried. I get pain on my heels with them.
@@flownyc6165 Thank you for your answer :) - not comfortable for you, that means to short, or not enaugh wide ? (wich Twister Edge boot size do you have ?)
i have my leopard bearing today but they made pretty loud sounds, i suspect a wide wheel hub is the reason so I put the bearings into another wheel and compare with the twincam ILQ 9 bearing with same wheel and spacers it definitely sounds louder. Do you have same experience that the bearings are more noisy in the first couple weeks
honesty after i got caught in the rain they got extremely noisy. i ended up purchasing a pair of Bones Swiss ceramics and i haven't looked back, they are FAST, quiet, and don't need maintenance often, they are the absolute best. Been a bones user since back when i use to skateboard and they never let me down. I also got some Sonic ceramics to compare and for being less then half the price they are very good as well(still testing). If you can afford it get ceramic bearings or just use ILQs.
I haven't replaced a thing. A Very well made skate i just add a superfeet insole under my liner making it the perfect fit for me. If I could recommend 1 skate to anyone it would be this the Fr1
i would say you would have a better time on the ES but it all depends on your preferences and what kind of skating you do. the es feels more natural for my size 44/45 foot but i need more time to test its been snowing here so hopefully soon.
Hey man, great review. I have a couple questions. My feet are 240mm and the size 5/6 in this skate is 230-240, so do you think this would be a good size for me? Also, is the raised heel in this skate pretty high, or is it more flat? Thanks
About to pull the trigger on fr1s. Trying to decide if I should get the deluxe 80 or the fr1 90. I’m going to be just doing mostly city skating / beach path. Seems like 90mm wheels are the better option for that based on what I’ve read - would you agree? Also - Would you say it makes more sense to get the 80 deluxe and get an endless frame + 90mm wheels ? Or the 90 and buy an intuition liner?
The deluxe comes with a better liner. really depends on your foot size. i ride 90mm and 100mm x4 mostly. i'd say the liner is worth it. Endless frames are my go to
110 will accelerate faster and 125 has higher top speed. i would say overall 110 is fine and fast but if u are tall or have big feet 125 u can really dig into slides with more clearance. 110 has more control. weight wise you'll get stronger faster with 125, 3 wheels set ups are already pretty light
deltas are hella responsive and comfortable. Also micro makes a lot of tweaks and upgrades to their skates every few months. they fixed a few of the issues i had with mine. FR1s have never let me down. i am looking for a new fr carbon boot i think Frs are as polished of a skate you can get
I’m trying to get a hold on these in size Large, but cannot find them anywhere in the western hemisphere. All the websites I checked they are sold out.

@@flownyc6165 I’m currently running 4x100 ps torrents on my wizard frames for winter, I was using last year 3x110 ps torrents on a GC tri frame again for winter and 5x80 labeda grippers on my NN dragons (for indoor) both have been fantastic! I have UC wheels in 110, 100 and 80, they have all been poor either in bearing fitting or oversized so they don’t fit the frame :/ I would be interested to try matter wheels since matter make UC I think?
Nice review bro👌🏼🙏🏼☺️can u recommend me what size should I order? My feet is 288mm. On Bladeville web sites they recommended 43.4 - 44.5 for 285-290mm. I hope that this size will be fit for my feet🙏🏼
it'll be comfortable but will get loose over time. i EU 45 and wear that size my foot is like 293cm, so you may need the smaller size. i did a little research and i think you should get the size 42-43. it'll be snug but will be better over time, with sizing i believe you get the size 6 shell(out of 8) and it'll keep the liner small but the boot roomy.
Great review, I really appreciate it! Just a question: did you have trouble in installing the frame? I read that the Endless is not suited for the Twister Edge, unless you modify the screw's hole
Where did they come from. I'm in Boston. I finally got my pair after obsessively checking the website for the past 6 months and seeing them always sold out. My height (6'7 with a 13.5 boot) was too much for the 80mm frames no matter how low I got id almost tip forward or backwards.
