I was able to set up the 2 bulbs with the "Sylvania Smart Home" app, the one that has the Bluetooth icon. I tracked down more info, but not on the Sylvania website. I had to do a lot of poking around for this ""Smart+ Classic Dimmable" bulb. I even found an FAQ that had good instructions! There was a note that said "For compatibility with Apple HomeKit, it is mandatory that the logo "Works with Apple Homekit"is printed on the package." Apparently this cheap bulb version doesn't have the right firmware. Although the Sylvania app gives an Apple choice, HomeKit will then prompt for a pairing code or QR code...I couldn't find those, even with a Google search. I got the 2 bulbs working, controlled as 2 separate bulbs, with the Sylvania app from the Apple App store. Try this link for the above info: shop.ledvanceus.com/products/sylvania-smart-bluetooth-led-bulb-a19-60w-full-color-1pk/ or shop.ledvanceus.com/products/sylvania-bluetooth-mesh-led-smart-light-bulb-a19-60w-rgbw-full-color-adjustable-white-4-pk or ledvance.com/consumer/products/smart-home/smart-lamps/smart-bluetooth/smart-classic-heatsink-lamps-with-bluetooth-technology/classic-bulb-shape-with-bluetooth-technology-c6337 Hope this helps! A lot of work, but worth it for $5!
Change your vehicle colour what I should do ?? I got a new car from my friend but I already had changed color and I don’t know what I should do? I have only the bill of sell and the ownership is still under his name
YOU can put in as high as 64GB -that's what I have. ANd images/videos are save in different folders. one feed for the front and 1 feed for the back.. its not superimposed
Had the hardest time setting up this light until I saw your video All the other instructions I read were not working. Now that it works it's amazing. Thanks
Just a heads up. Once you downloaded the app, you do not need to have Alexa or a Google home or any other speaker. On the page where he's choosing which device to use, look down a little bit farther and there's a spot there that says "I don't have a device". Pick that and It'll walk you through the steps to set up. As far as I can tell, you can't set timers this way, but you can set up the light bulb color, brightness, etc. it was just function like a normal light bulb after that. Make sure when you're setting up the bulb, once it starts trying to connect, turn the bulb off and then on again and it should find it pretty quickly. Because it uses Bluetooth you have to be fairly close to the bulb during setup with your phone or tablet.
No, you do not need an Alexa or Google home or any kind of speaker. What you do need is a phone/device that has Bluetooth and the app. when you're in the setup page if you scroll down just a little bit farther you will see an option that says "No smart speaker". Choose that and it will walk you through basic Bluetooth setup on your phone or tablet. Keep in mind that your Wi-Fi is irrelevant with the setup. There are two kinds of bulbs... one that uses Wi-Fi and one that uses Bluetooth. The OP is showing you the Bluetooth version of these which are sold at Dollarama. In order to adjust the bulbs in any way after setup, you will need to bring your phone, tablet or whatever Bluetooth device you're using to set up the bulb back within range of the bulb (should connect within a couple of feet of the bulb) Wi-Fi does not matter. When's it reconnects, you can then make any adjustments that you feel are necessary. Keep in mind that Bluetooth has a pretty short range. If your phone/device or speaker is more than a few feet away, it may have trouble connecting.
Not that I know of.. It was not listed in the requirements.. Safety as I know is only when you are selling or transferring the ownership of the vehicle.. Might be wrong though.
Hey. Just got these myself. I found it much easier using "Cync (formerly C by GE App)" to add these I personally dont have a google home/mini/alexa and these work find via just bluetooth and the app.
Yes but almost all the same shades.. slight differences.. If you want diff colors buy the SYlvania and make sure its the full color one. But you would need a google home mini for that
Just an FYI, be sure that your Google Home and Android phone are on the same WiFi. They will need to be both on either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for the setup to complete properly. Thank you to "The Pinoy In Canada" for this tutorial.

They set up a Bluetooth mesh network. So you need to have a bulb like 20 feet from a google mini. And then you can add another bulb within 20-40 feet from that, etc etc. Imagine a bubble coming off the speaker and any bulbs you have. They have to be able to connect to each other even if that means being relayed by something in-between.
Thanks for the video. I was trying to set them up in the google home app by linking the Sylvania account. Once I added it the way you showed, works great now. Thanks!
