Spot-on about the uneven dilapidated "sidewalks." However, they're not unique to Merida. Veracruz also has similar, if not worse sidewalks. Frankly, I'm more concerned about twisting an ankle walking on these sidewalks than being kidnapped and sex trafficked...
I saw it Indiana. Toronto shot very good. I saw the projectory on my cell phone and noted it would be coming straight from Tornato, thru Indianapolis, then thru my town. Very nice video
Am I the only one that’s suspicious that the government cloud seeded blocking out the eclipse the day before this beautiful blue skies the day after beautiful blue skies as you can see today, but on the eclipse far overcast, I think that was done on purpose and truth what do you think? Do you trust the government anymore? I sure know the hell I don’t.❤DALE. Just thinking about all the times they’ve actually been caught lying to society, not only Canada but America and governments around the whole world
@@turnleftrighthere2605 Ruffinos was excellent! Thanks so much for the recommendation. (Here now) hope to come back. So good! Love this town first time here. Going to check out your videos! Cheers
Hahaha! I almost missed my first flight from Toronto to Mérida. I was getting drunk in an airport bar. Did they actually call your name over the PA system like they did mine? 😂 So yeah, they didn't appreciate my being late, and they hauled me over to make sure I wasn't some kind of mule. It didn't help that I had about $7000 in US cash in my backpack. They finally believed that I saved it from my serving job in a tourist town, but they noted my lateness on my passport. Now I get stopped at every single border I cross. So I have to travel with my best undies packed. 😂 Every. Single. Border. Even a connecting flight in Switzerland.
This video is so well done. It could pass for a professionally produced show. Wait, are you a professional travel TV show producer? Ok, maybe so, or maybe not...I'm not sure. It's quirky, logical, humorous, to the point, from the heart and of course as you said, weird. Love it. Best part is the great story-telling with the quips! It's obvious you really enjoyed your time there and when I eventually get there, I too will look for Eduardo, the Guide. Thanks for making this. Viva Mérida!
