This song hits home. I was in high school and dated this older guy for many years. During those days, I met so many awesome individuals…we were penpals and also toured and stayed with so many bands. You know who you are and I love you all. You left an indelible mark on me and will never forget those days.❤
This song is timeless and holds up throughout the decades. I was lucky enough to see Face to Face a couple years ago for the first time in 20 years and they sounded great as they did back in the day.
Why is everything else they made so different from this song. This rocks so hard.wish the rest did 😢 and this song lived rent free in my head for 20+ years
I remember hearing this song on the radio and hating it, but never knowing who it was that played it. WAY later on now I’m going through bands channels that I used to listen to in the 90’s and I’m like oh shit that was a face to face song 😅
Oh damn, I was looking for this song years ago on Spotify for aaages (not knowing/forgetting title)... I thought it was a Bigwig tune. 😂 Thanks Random YT Algorithm!
I was seeing Face to Face in Covington, Ky a few years back. I was having a little too good of a time and a guy in the crowd took offense to it and threw me to the ground. The next day I was covered in bruises, it was a hard hit. I’ll never forget what happened next, Face to Face stopped playing and called out the guy who threw me. Said it was a punk show and if he didn’t like people dancing and having a good time then he can leave. I’ve been a fan since I was 15 and I’m 43 now. Face to Face is a pretty special band in all respects.
...like a stocky, more Bro'd-out version of Jawbreaker♪ that No Authority seven inch on Dr.Strange SOUNDTRACKED MY LIFE friends kept listening but this one was enough for me♪
This song and in general this kind of music gets me through so much still to this day and will always. Going to the desert(ocitillo wells & glamis), riding waves at the beach in Carlsbad, snowboarding in Big Bear and mammoth, high school, love, loss, death and everything else in between good or bad this music literally sings to your soul and will always bring back good and bad memories
Yall are doggin Big Choice?!?! What?! That album is such a great piece of punk rock history, a great stepping stone from Dont Turn Away to S/T, and so influential among everyone from huge bands like Blink-182 to the common F2F fan. Chad being in it helped you guys add a lot of texture to the music. Transforming it into this awesome melodic pop punk sound and made it an awesome record. I prefer it a good deal over Dont Turn Away. I like how the sound bled over into the S/T era with that album being melodic hardcore pop punk. Anyways, yall are nuts but I still love you guys. Come to Orlando.
The first time I heard Face to Face was back in 1995 watching the video "Disconnected" on MTV, I remember that since then I started getting their albums and the first one I had was Don't Turn Away which, by the way, my father gave it to me and since then they became one of my favorite bands, I was lucky enough to see them live in San Diego back in 1999 and I hope to see them soon now that they reunited again!
