Thanks for checking out DailyDriverRebuilds! DDR not dance dance revolution, DDR DailyDriverRebuilds!
On this channel we'll be picking up cars from the auctions and rebuilding them. We will also be buying products online, installing them and giving review of what we think about the product!
Most of our cars will be purchase from Copart or IAA and we'll be getting most of our parts from LKQ.
Anytime you run any length of wire from battery you should put an inline fuse at the battery end just in case of a short. The fuse should be sized to protect the size wire you run.
this video is old but i’m looking to do the same to my truck. what kind of pipe do i need to buy to do the muffler delete? would a resonator pipe work? i know that’s what i need for the resonator delete.
Based on what I saw you probably ran into the issue that I ran into and you were not able to the dust over back on because the back of the light makes an obstruction. i didn't see that part in the video.
Correct me if I’m wrong but… first you did a muffler delete, which you seemed to like. Then you deleted the resonator and straight piped it. After doing that you decided it was to loud and droned to much and decided to put a muffler on the truck. I’m wanting to do something to my truck, 2011 f150 6.2. I was going to start with just doing a muffler delete. That being said and with your experience would you recommend just replacing the stock muffler with a flow master or something like that leaving the resonator to keep the drone away or just delete the stock muffler? Thanks
I know this is 4 years old now but do you still have the truck? How long did you like it? I've been wanting to do this on my '16 since I bought it new but we tow a bit and I don't want my wife to be all "its too loud, I hate your truck!" Is/was there much drone? especially around the 2000-2200 RPM zone? Would you do it again?
I sold the truck about two years ago. The guy I sold it to works at the same place I do so I see it every once in a while. I did end up putting a muffler back on it before I sold it. It did drone a bit and it didn’t bother me for a while but then I started to get tired of it. If you don’t take it on long drives I’d say go for it but if you have long drives every day I would advise not to do it.
@@Smackalakin Thanks for the quick reply! I hear trucks all the time driving on the highway and I think man, you are going to hate those loud ass tires after a while, or that drone from your exhaust is annoying when you are just cruising beside me. HAHA. I often think the sound of exhaust is better on someone elses truck ya know HAHA but having to deal with it everyday would get old. This guy at work had a mustang and I loved the sound of it while he was driving away but I never had to sit in the car for 30 mins on a straight highway.
Is engine idling illegal? Yes. Under Section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, engine idling is an offence. The Highway Code also has a rule against engine idling.
U can just remove the nut on the bottom of the motor mount and keep the mounts attached when u pull it so u don’t have to take off alternator and powersteering
I have a 2014 528i that I’m trying to replace the chrome pieces as well. Will this video work for guiding me or is the difference in years going to be a problem? Thanks for any advice. 🙏
Wasn't able to see the final outcome or much of any other part of the video for that matter. Lame gay ass music killed it for me. Who in the hell can listen to that crap?
I have the grill lights on 2020 wildtrak is there no adapter that you can just connect without splicing wires? bit hesitant cutting me wires 😅 is there not another way?
You didn't talk about the wiring of the horn itself they're not labeled negative or positive I'm guessing it doesn't matter? It was a lot harder to install the horn without taking apart I wish I would have seen that before that point. Like a typical man I lost the instructions so that probably told me the wire polarity issue 🤣
You did all that and didn't even really show off the sound of it? That was the main reason I watched this was to hear what the Vevor actually sounds like adter install.
I got mine from my MIL when she could no longer drive. It was running rough and after a new set of spark plugs and some decent gas it started running like a champ. So I am moving on to fixing the body from the time she was playing bumper cars with it. At first I was like this is a Sh!it Box but the more I drive it the more I like it, and parts are CHEEEEEAP, hard to beat it.
He's saying it doesn't come with a button or power wires. Said it twice so you were aware that it works out the box, but to install it you'll need ______
I don't know if this is a dumb question if I were to install this on my 2006 Honda, once it starts, do I just put the key in the ignition and put it to on? do I have to worry about the engine not shutting off? If the engine is on will it drive without the key? My only other thing is the car is old and the key fob's range is practically nothing. any advice on how to improve it? Can I start my car from my phone instead?
You should go buy a longer blade for that saw that was terrible to watch should been the quickest part 😃 sounds good tho im assuming that's a 5.0 v8 sounds like mine
