What about B2 "Paper Airplane" from the same album any connections with Alison Krauss song from 2011, if you taking requests please share i never heard La Costa version
I have a question : Was Aunt Mattie related to one of the songwriters , and does the "Quilt" refer to the fabric of her life , or a real quilt she lovingly put together before her untimely passing ? I loved their first two albums , but never listened again after Robin and Laura left .
First heard Skips music end of the the 80's i believe. Great artist. His music is relaxing and sounds pure. Great lyrics in his songs. Way to go Skip!!!
Carol and I have been fans of the Glasers since they first came out. In fact we had this album for a lot of years. I listened to their music during the time I was in the service. We come back to them pretty regular to hear their wonderful voices and the real country music.
They remind of the beautiful summer of 1976 what a voice Toni has I play Thier music regularly Mexicali lane is beautiful , from Holland and another favourite from Holland is heintje
I WAS in college in the late 60s,,,,we had a group,,,called ourselves the Richettes!!! A bunch of guys and girls in tuscaloosa,,univ of alabama,,,,when he was anywhere near, we made a point to load up and drive, maybe 100 miles,,,,a good trip then. Lotsa times to the 45 club columbus mississippi,,,,one in the group, Steve Bigbee was a special fan of Charlie. We would sing and dance til the place closed,,,and during the night about 11 pm, Charlie would let the Richettes on the stage with him. When the place closed,,,Steve who had cash, would then rent the place from the owner,,,and we had our own party then til breakfast. I still have about 11 albums i think,,, Charlie gave me every one. HE drove a yellow mercury station wagon at the time,,,and sold albums at the shows...Drank Cutty Sark,,,,,great showman,,,,good guy,,,,,saw him at city auditorium shows in huntsville and birmingham and nashville,,,,miss him a lot,,,,,he knew the classics bethoven and brahms and the other old masters and could play them well also,,,,majored in music in college,,,,,do you have any information on Mary Ann,,,,she is the one Steve stayed in contact with to keep us posted on where Charlie was,,,,,hes missed,,,,
Clearly Tom Pacheco was well versed in UFO lore as this story of a craft crashing into Judge Proctor's windmill and a dead alien found which was allegedly buried in the local cemetery is considered a true story in some circles. Many thanks for sharing this track, most appreciated
