THWNK YOU FOR THIS!! i was so sick my freshman year of college and when i came home for winter break my mother would not stop complimenting me on how i looked like i wasn’t just malnourished and she knew that.
I gotta say, i like that she includes how much of it she actually eats. Too few people do it. It is not a taboo zo talk about portion control. I myself suffered from an eating disprder for most of my life and am now finally in a good place. But i still struggle with finding the right amount of food either going too high or too low. Watching what i eat in a day videos of these skinny minis telling me they re eating plates full of pasta and i ce cream and then saying it s all about balance actually tells me nothing. But I can see eating the way liv does and not finishing everything the restaurant puts on your plate as realistic. ALSO, i think she is american, yes? The portions in america are insane! INSANE! If someone tells me they can eat all that is put on the plate and eat like this everyday i will just not believe them.
Really? antioxidant and vitamin C doesn't help you to remove toxin from your body? You some kind of doctor, medical expert? Lemon helps liver to get rid off of toxins, was that too complicated for you to understand?
i think u are reading values per 100g , what jind of shitty protein cookie did u buy , i might as well eat the Krispy cream donut with scoop of whey protien and i will still have calories left
honeslty one thing i like about her is that shes actually saying what alot of skinny influencers dont instead of lying like theyre eating 3 pizza slices when they only take like 5 bites
You are so off its hilarious. Especially that you have to resort to name calling. You can't even use your words to say what's really bothering you and that is that she's calling you out on being unhealthy. I'm sure that's hard for you but that's how you build a healthy relationship with food. The influencer that she is pointing out is encouraging unhealthy habits and deserves to be called out.
But its not, for 23 dollars you could buy most of those fruits and make multiple smoothies or you could buy a full meal. It is overpriced, and it's also not super healthy. it's a smoothie. it's full of sugar. If you wanna be healthy, there are way cheaper ways to that are way more effective. Im not even saying the smoothie is bad. im sure it tastes great. I just can't imagine that it's worth 10 dollars more than a smoothie from any other juice bar
I use an app to track my meals because evrrytbing seems to aggravate my endometrosis. Its extremely hard to tell the dr the exact diet youve been having and which foods do what when you dont track it . Also yes calories in vs calories burned is a huge part of weighloss and you cant really know if your making the right changes without first knowing how much you vs how much you burn off . Tracning calpries is not a bad thing unless you obsess
@lauraghiacy How can you lose weight then when a cardiologist, so an MD, tells you to, if you can't use an app to track calories in and calories out then, when an MD licensed in the US tells you that you need to?
Calories in, calories out determines weight loss. Not all calories are good calories. You gotta think about satiety: proteins, fats, etc keep you full instead of high sugar meals. This allows you to feel well fed on reduced calories. But calories are important, if you starve while attempting to lose weight you’re just screwing your metabolism.
I understand what the author is saying about not needing tech, some of us need apps to track though. We’re still learning to understand our bodies, knowing when we are actually full, mindful eating etc. My fitness pal tracker has helped me lose an enormous amount of weight. It’s been a slow process but I enjoy my meals and don’t feel hungry ever
i think if you are happy in your body that is an absolute fucking win. its so hard to be happy in your own body these days with this society. i genuinely cant deal with it, as someone who is not overweight, but not really skinny. i had been called obese when my weight is actually at bang average for my age. i hope people get over their insecurities enough to see the damage they are doing to the others around them. all bodies should be celebrated. please remember that this is just societal expectations and it will fade out, they WILL change. i think every body is gorgeous. i hope that some day you can learn to love yourself, only you can do that, i dont know who needs to hear that but you need to learn to love yourself. how can you ever love someone else, or accept then loving you, if you dont even love yourself? 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
@lauraghiacy Are you sure by basic she didn't just mean "building blocks," like of healthy eating. Also food deserts has been proven wrong, because ie it would include like almost every suburb and ranch area, etc., distance is not the problem, the problems are for example low income/unemployment like for affording transport, etc. You cant build grocery stores where theres no available space for them. More problems could also be education where people arent buying the produce so stores stop stocking it and others don't open in those areas because there's no demand.
Uuummm I live in a food desert, they exist and have not been disproved. Having access to food is a privilege and it shouldn't be. It should be easily accessible to everyone despite the money they make, as food is a need not a want.
@@breonnal.6764 They have been widely disproven and those studies have been peer-reviewed, its not distance thats the problem, thats unreasonably and would include most subburbs.
how is any of this thin privilege when its ur body that doesnt work with society u cant js expect airlines and restaurants to adapt and change everything bc of ur unhealthy lifestyle choices also skinny ppl also have troubles finding their clothe sizes all body sizes do its normal also ur doctor isnt juding u they r js looking out for u if they tell u to lose weight its prob bc its unhealthy
Can I ask. Why do you think it is as such? People who are overweight. And yes that is the proper way to say it. Are medically unhealthy, any medical professional will agree. And when we see a person for the first time all we have is their appearance at first to judge upon. I’m not condoning this behavior, it’s just the way it is. When you see a person who can barely get out of their chair on the first try. The first idea is that they don’t have self discipline or a sense of responsibility for themselves. Now I happen to be a thin man and my fiancé is a larger girl I personally look past the physical and care more about a persons values and how they treat others. I know for a fact she’s. Capable of losing weight , however it’s not easy and she fluctuates quite often. So i totally understand that it’s a struggle for some. But that doesn’t mean you should just be fat and lazy and not try. It’s like an alcoholic just saying it’s ok to be a lousy drunk bc that’s the body they are in. No. People who are obese have an abnormal body chemistry and therefore have to work a lil harder to maintain a healthy and medically normal body weight. You are the same type of person that says believe the science until it doesn’t fit your narrative. You have to apply your values equally. Not when it suits your agenda.
@@LiterallyFatima but it is unless ur bmi is less than 18.5 then thats unhealthy majority of the time when someone has a healthy bmi they r skinny and statistically live longer healthier lives
@@cameroon662not necessarily, you can be skinny yet be eating unhealthy the same as being overweight and eating healthy. Not to mention that the BMI scale is really outdated since it does not consider muscle nor gender into it's numbers.
@@theeidiot6375 i actually went to med school and i can confirm that when doctors do yearly check ups they consider your bmi my thats my country and we dont also consider the persons gender also since we see patience in person we can normally tell how much of the weight is muscle also i have seen someone come in say they eat healthy and a regular diet a month later they came back in w an eating disorder so you never actually know what someone is eating because they could be lying
I mean, I drink ginger and turmeric tea when I have a headache or a stomachache and my symptoms go away bc of the benefits that they provide. I don't think she meant it as something that deep. The smoothie is something you can make at home for cheaper than buying it (money obvi isn't a concern for her tho so she just buys it). What's in it can definitely help with nausea and if that helps, I'm sure she eats a real meal later. Ik when I'm nauseous, the last thing I want is to eat.
It could honestly just be the placebo effect. It's CRAZY what your brain can do when you trick it into thinking something's going to work. Your mind's akready convinced that it will, so it does the things that would have happen if it had actually worked even though it technically hasn't.
