Hey I'm Darren (AKA) RC UK Scale Models and i am Model building RU-vid . My channel. I love gaming and Model building started gaming way back in 1990. I have been model-building on and off for years.
David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA (Tuesday, 27 August, 2024) Hello, Darren. I hope you and yours are well. At 0:48 in your video, you state that Captain Eddie Rickenbacker was born in 1819. That would have made him round age 98 when the USA had entered the Great War of 1914-1918. His actual birth date was Wednesday, 8 October, 1890). Mann’s Model Moments recently had reported on his RU-vid channel (Wednesday, 15 March, 2023, though not till Monday, 19 August, 2024 had I seen it) that Zhongshan Yatai Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., an international electric appliance manufacturing conglomerate in China has under their ægis Trumpeter (by far, the largest of the three), Hobby Boss, and I ♥ Kit. Mr. Mann is a bright, knowledgeable, dignified chap, so if this is of interest to you, perhaps you might enquire further with him. SPAD S.XIII dimensions: Wingspan: 8.08 metres; 26 ft 6” (318”). Hallo Bro🤘dieser Tank darf finde ich in keiner Sammlung fehlen Habe 4 stück und sie sind einfach das beste vom Besten Grüsse aus der Schweiz🇨🇭😊 Thank you🤘💯
I had this kit when it first came out. I was a teenager then and I loved it. Looks like the molds are getting weaker now. The figures back then were not that soft!
I have 2 of the minigram kits, "Thumper" origionally the nose art was licenced during the war to be on the planes, however as Disney got woke they canceled the Licenceing and that is why you dont get new kits with thumper in them. Also I believe "Sweet 16" is currently at March AFB in C.A. on display
Building one of these at the moment...8 months in and about 3/4 done. Endless flash and removal and filler. The biggest bug of the kit is the fit of the windshield part into its place...Mine was over sized/warped `flat` and has been a pig to correct. But. It will be very rewarding at the finish! Enjoy yours and thank you for the review. ( Mine is the early 2000`s `Humpin Honey` Release ). The bomb bay bulkhead windows are easy to fill with micro clear! Tail gunner station windows are fairly average and are best replaced as well ( Depending on your desired outcome ).
Just a tiny warming about books. Watch out for the walkarounds of redone aircraft. A lot of times, more modern equipment or the wrong color of parts are shown as factual. The book you have is known for showing restored aircraft and not explaining what was changed
I’ve never watched an unboxing video of a model I want to get really bad and have the person in the video make me not want to get to get it by their tone and they sound like they just hate it and are frustrated they have tdo do it….
Nice build video, unfortunately the snow shovel is always white and unused on most vehicles. It would be nice to see a model with the desert barracuda thermal camouflage nets
Was hoping to see an interior shot of a B-17 bomb bay. Building an F model, lots of discussion as to whether it's aluminium or green. Thanks for giving a look inside the book.
Hello. Have you built this model? I am a beginner modeler, bought this model 2 years ago. I can't find a video on assembly anywhere. I don't know what parts to glue on. Cannon, engine judging by the photos are taken out of the model (I assembled them painted, transmission too). Could you please suggest a forum or video on how to assemble this model? Thanks
The engineering on this kits is abysmal..nothing fit together without extensive shaving and sanding. There are many errors regarding antennae and the interior is devoid of accuracy. The copilot door should have glass on the bottom as well. They should have called it the hh-65B for what it is. Tamiya pricing for this junk! Never again.
The Tamiya P47 kits are one of my all time favorites!🥰 Great kit, easy to build, lots of subjects & the kit, being older is readily available for a good price. And its Tamiya engineering so...😊
I am currently working on the same tank, so I dig out ur videos for reference. They're really good. Please advise the types of prints of your choices. Thanks a lot.
first layer of paint I used a black primer of choice and second layer of paint of sand (AK RC096 IDF EARLY SAND YELLOW) that is all I only use two paint
