Nice animations, but in life it is appropriate to cite those who made a job before you. Pedro J. de Pablo et al. invented Jumping Mode (PinPoint Mode seems to do exactly the same)... at the end of the last century!: P. J. de Pablo et al. Jumping mode scanning force microscopy. Appl. Its kind of amazing something like this exists at all given the detailed scan you can make. I remember hearing about electron microscopes and thinking that they are probably really difficult to do much with. Now as microchip architecture is around the 1nm scale, a 0.1nm resolution scan would be amazing. That being said I do wonder what sort of wavelength of light would you even use for this? Like do you get information out of longer or shorter wavelengths than what you are looking at? Or is it both? Either way fascinating stuff for a random youtube video with 7 views.
Thank you so much for your comment. For ellipsometric measurements of such thin layers with 0.1nm resolution, we use visible wavelength range of light. Although the instruments support a wavelength range from 190nm - 1700nm, it depends on the sample which wavelength range is required. In simple cases, only one wavelength in the visible range may be enough to resolve 0.1nm thickness variations. Please note that we are talking about 0.1nm vertical resolution (Z). The special resolution (X-Y) is 1µm!
Hello valued customer. It seems you are unable to access the vision of the main camera of our tool with the function of the eye icon. If you wish to activate the eye icon within your program, we can provide you with the software file that can activate this. However, depending on the model version you have, it may not be compatible and if you are already using a separate vision program, then having this function wouldn't be necessary as you are already able to access the vision. If you would like, you could submit your inquiry and send an email to our technical support team. You could first send an email to cs@parksystems.com
