I am a fan of Fatheads. I believe that one of the owners, Matt, has ties to Ada, Ohio. The town the Yeti and I lived in for far too long. Have not tried this one yet, but will have to give it a try. Great review my friend!
Love the name. Looks super clean and crisp in the glass. Floral is always a flavour that is hit or miss with me, as long as it is not overpowering. It sounds like an easy drinking beer, perfect for a hot summer day. Cheers!!

If St Bernardus Dubbel, it should be Rochefort 6 for a fair comparison. Or Rochefort 8 with St Bernardus Abt 12 (they share a same strength). But always good to see some reviews on those kings :)
So this was not the whole enchilada? 🤣🤣 As much as I like all the fruited sours and crazy beers, I do miss just good old regular beer sometimes. Seems like this is a solid beer for when you just want to get mangles and aren't worried about the flavors. Cheers!
I have had a beer or two from these guys, but have never had this. Sounds like this one is a bit confused in its composition. Still sounds ok, just not as good as you would expect. Great review.

That brewery is right down the street from my house. That brewer is the son of German immigrants. Its a cool little brewery with great food! I am happy to see you like the beer even though its not true to the style its labeled as on the can. Cheers!
Sweet shirt. Three Floyd’s usually kills it, but I have not tried this yet. They seem to be putting out new beers all the time. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers and hopefully the power comes back quickly!
it's pretty lame for a German style amber lager with historic roots. It's more like a flat Tab soda. And I wanted to like and respect it, but was very disappointed. Just too weak at 4. anything. Gotta be a 5.0 or more for real amber/vienna
