Big mistake mate, conect the gun like that. I'll explain why. Me couple, shut a big fish that took away & at that moment the robe got stucked to his tourch that was on his left arm. I saw it with my eyes , the big fish took my couple like nothing! We got lucky i was very near & wirh a 135 long speargun, i got the fish on his tail & manage to stop it from the surf. My friend got badly hurt on his back. Very very dangerous conect speargun like that.
Hi! :)🙂 Do You know if the Cressi Gara Modular Impulse footpockets (which I have, they're supposed to be interchangeable) would be compatible with the DiveR composite fiberglass blades?
Hey Dan! I wanted to ask how you filmed your videos. I'm looking to purchase a good diving camera and a way to mount it to my mask. I was wondering what you might recommend anything that works well for you. Thanks!
Great catch. My only word of advice is to not use paper towels when brushing off the fish @11:06 simple due to the fact that paper towels are bleached in toxic chemicals. Many people don't know this but easy to research online.
Mediterranean is the best, I just don't watch spearfishing in other seas/oceans because it's like going to the supermarket. I actually used a pole spear lately in Spain and it has been super challenging but also fun, almost would have hit multiple sea breams if only I had developed some aim with it.
@@IvanGreguricOrtolan as someone who has fished in the Med and the Ocean I can say they both have their challenges. Its easy to watch videos from the ocean and see lots of fish and think it’s easy, just like watching videos from the med with large dentex swimming straight up to people in 5m of water. These are only highlights and not the normal.
Faster to reload as the fish doesn’t get stuck on the shark fins when you go all the way through the fish. Also better for hole fishing as you can always pull the shaft back out from the rear. Plenty of reasons to use one or the other.
That snorkel is nothing! I dive in very dirty water and I properly wash(I rinse my snorkel after every dive) about once a month or two. The amount of gunk that came out last week when i washed it... I just threw it away man. PS: you never tell a fisherman(or spearo) "good luck" when they head out to hunt. At least on the adriatic, it's considered bad luck. In some parts, to the point that if someone says it to you before fishing, you might as well abort and return home. Before you ask, I got no idea where it originated from.
@@DanielMann Up to preference. I leave the snorkel in when it won't get in the way when sneaking. I get annoyed when it gets caught in things, so 50/50 for me during a dive, but mostly surfacing with it. Either can be good or bad, just referencing other videos.
I have a question, where can i get my hands on the Underpressure spearguns, on a video you showed the 80 and 110 in the single band configuration (i fell in love) and i cannot find them online anywhere, so this is my desperate attempt for someone to enlighten me. Have a blessed day 🌊💙
What a great video Daniel! I was looking for the 60 cm speargun but couldn't find it, which brand is it? I am looking for something similar for hole hunting in Italy. Thanks a lot!
@@DanielMann cheers for the reply man, will give you a sub. Just interesting for me because I am on the other side of the world and we don’t touch the real big fish
amazing content but if possible, can you add fish photos whenever you're mentioning them as in 10:35 , it would be very interesting to get to know them
Great content, subscribed, how long is your line from your gun to your float, and is it always the same, or do you change the length for different conditions?
Yesterday I lost my spear 😢 I shoot a fish and when I pulled on the string the string broke! I think my string was a little worn already… but when I pulled the string broke because the friction on the spear ! Any tips for preventing that? And what type of string you use? I have a beuchat speargun with no reel . Thanks and greetings from the Pacific Sayulita México 🇲🇽
There it is, my country ! 🇧🇬 BULGARIA ! 🇧🇬 and our lovely🌊Black Sea!🌊 <3 We have only smol 🦈 sharks 🦈n u will never see them ! Going spearfishing next week for the first time after snorkeling for years, I can not wait!
Great advice here, thank you! This will be my first summer I try this sport, been snorkelling for a while now I saw some big fish last time. haha Eat what you shoot lads! <3
Im an albanian Ive been spearfishing for about two years The albanian waters arent the safest and the boats will come about 10 to 20 meters from you and because floats are very rare here the only way to spot one is by listening Also going that far away from the coast puts you in boat territory AND THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK
