In a cold sweat, OEarth sits up in bed suffering from the effects of a terrible nightmare. He cries out "SILVER!". He runs over to the bay window in his base pod and sees the soft glow from his ONE survival kit shining dimly from his rover. A wave of relief washes over him. In the nightmare, a meteor struck near the base smashing his rover to pieces, and crushing the ONE survival kit, forever crippling his mission to leave Pertam. He knew he had to act quickly. Fate was closing in. Working under the dull, dim light from his helmet, Oearth tried to squeeze out silver from his metal grids, but could not. Anxious, he grabbed the keys to the Hail Mary, and without fueling, set off in haste to a wreckage. How could he overlook such a key hingepoint? Why did he leave himself so utterly vulnerable? 😄
I know absolutely nothing about Macs but maybe you could do a direct search for the key part of the file name/path, and find where the same files are on your computer. Like click on the C: drive...right there on the root (not on a folder), and in a search field type in "FarmingSimulator2022". Give the computer a minute to think about it, and maybe it'll return 2 or 3 results with one of them having the .../MyGames path your looking for. Good Luck and let me know how it turns out!!
So to make your life on hard 10x easier, just collect money and trucks until you can buy Azov 64131. Wont flip as it is one od the most stable trucks out, wont run out of fuel becuase it has a mileage of golf 3 tdi, wont get stuck because it is A BEAST

Will this still work if I close the world and when I go to menu it doesn’t show up cause this keeps happening to me when I put 6+ hours in a world just for it to be gone.
@n0t3lite75 It should. The default autosave is at 15 minute intervals, so unless the autosave has accidentally been turned off or set to some very long time interval, it should restore your game back to no more that 15 minutes after you closed the game. The autosave setting is for each individual world/farm. So to check on it, open and start the game, press <ESC> to get to the settings, and you'll find it near the bottom of the options on the left - it's the one with a tractor and gearwheel. As a side note: Mods can sometimes interfere with normal game behavior, but you may not be running any...just thought I'd mention it. Good Luck!

Your two thruster set up should still slow you down completely without having to do that wiggle. At the low speed, translate your ship 90 degrees rotating on the x axis as if you're pointing straight up from the original direction of travel. This will cancel the vertical momentum your ship has. then yaw 90 degrees left to cancel out your sideways momentum. This maneuver should cancel any movement your ship still has. Great idea with the mayday signal also. You're in quite a conundrum not being able to use a jetpack nor refineries, but you should be able to find useful items on that ship if you can figure out how to grind the components without a ship grinder on board. Cross your fingers that there's a gravity generator operational on that ship.
I would of thought so too, but it just didn't seem to respond that way. Could of also of been a slight disorientation in space on exactly which way was 90 degrees? Maybe the game is super sensitive to being a degree off? In the end after trying different directions, the "wiggle" just seemed to work, though I agree what you're saying is correct as well...at least it's what you'd expect.
I run the 'perpetually perturbed pirates' mod on my server to keep players from becoming friendly with space pirates. Seems kinda cheaty on a regular playthrough to have friendly pirates, but you are not playing a regular playthrough and need to exploit any advantage you can find.
I'm playing FS22 on a laptop with integrated graphics, of course, it doesn't run very well so it sometimes crashes randomly. you have saved me from losing the save in which I've progressed the most in, thank you.
Two or 3 reasons here: The connector just looked way too big and out of place on such a tiny rover. This was a way to create something maybe a little different. The small connector we have now wasn't in the game back then. If you are making a rather small rover, you can either use a method like this or use the new small connector they recently added to the game. If you use the small connector, you'll need to convert the base's connection to a small grid connector similar to the way I did it with the small hinge - the larger connectors and small connector won't work together.
On Pertam, water oasis are located on a loose 7.5km x 7.5km grid. Means: If you scan meticulously a complete area with a ship, you wil see it. The pattern is loose, means the oasis is in the vicinity of each node... or not.
@@Oearth yeah with my org we are starting a big ECO server as of lack of content in the summer for SC and all ! It will be our game for about 2 month so i am trying to learn and familiarizing on your vids !
I'm shocked at how small you are on RU-vid. Your narration and editing skills are top-notch. Your explanations are effective and easy to understand. You have done something I have never seen done before, you made a tutorial- a good one- in SURVIVAL MODE. That is astonishing. I hope this channel grows to what it can be. This is an awesome comment, and amazing thing to hear! I ask myself that same question every week! (LOL!) Most of my tutorials are nestled in survival, and I hoped it might make them more interesting to see the builds driven by actual gameplay. Hi Oearth, Im new and have a question, I find that other people are levelling Basic engineering faster than me even though im on all day and making a fair few bits, my housing and food bonus's are good too, im still level 3 and 3 ppl are already lvl 5, how do i get to level 7 in any skill as fast as possible so as not to get left behind?
Almost without fail, people "over-produce" as a way just to level - I've seen masses of stockpiles full of something cheap to produce that gives the most points per item...they just crank out lots of cheap to make things. For food, if your doing all the things in the video, then you're doing the best you can there <thumbs up!!> - just make sure your food is looking good when you kick off a big production job. When one player is out-distancing another on skill advancement, it's usually either poor food/housing, OR, just producing more things (whether they plan on selling all the things or not). Unfortunately for your situation, interior turrets do not require metal grids to build. However, it is usually a good thing they don't require grids when you are trying to defend against wolves and spiders in the early game.
a few points, you ONLY need the hydrogen for leaving the atmosphere "at least for first trip", you can use ions in space if you have the parts for enough in all directions of course... you could always use hinges or rotors to change your thrust vectors, and a parachute for the return trip saves soo much fuel and prevents crashes.... keeping this in mind lets you use TWO hydrogen thrusters for leaving the atmosphere... this of course also allows for a few other bells and whistles to be installed on your ship....
I'm puzzled by the way you are thinking, a true space engineer would place his two thrusts on hinges or rotors to give yourself more directional thrust. By putting the two thrusts on hinges you could double your lift and then point 1 forward to slow down or both outwards to give yourself left and right thrust.
Hey Oearth, this might be one of the few cases where a parachute hatch comes in useful! You could fill up your little supply rocket with as much stuff as it can hold for a return from the station, and slowly push yourself back into Pertam's gravity with a single hydrogen thruster, and try to land roughly near your base. Then you can bring out the rover to collect the supplies, and your rocket should be able to make its own way back to base with an empty load!
@maciejgostynski823. I’m not exactly sure which files or folders you’re not seeing, but there are a couple different “Documents” folders. Here’s a couple other ways to find the right one. There are a couple default "Documents" folders on your PC - the one you want is under a "OneDrive" folder - which is where the "Document" folder is I showed in the Video...it's just mapped there by default. You can go to C:/Users/<yourname>/OneDrive and find the Documents folder you want with the the rest of the "MyGames/FarmingSimulator2022" path I showed. If you're still having trouble, go click on the C: drive...right there on the root (not on a folder), and search in the field in the upper right of your File Explorer window, type in "FarmingSimulator2022". Give the computer a minute to think about it, but it'll return 2 or 3 results with one of them having the .../OneDrive/Documents/MyGames path your looking for. I need this guide but for Fancy Status Display’s V2. It’s easy enough to get pretty displays but even after all these years I find myself using Auto LCD’s for a lot still like Damaged blocks. fancy is nice for graphics, and of course Isy’s Inventory Manager has its own displays also. So much to remember
Are you able to build searchlight? It is DLC so not everyone has it, but uses fewer resources and takes up less space than a custom turret spy camera with the added bonus of being a spotlight.
I buy every DLC of this game almost immediately! 🤣 In thinking about it now, it’s probably a happy accident I didn’t use the searchlight so I could provide a more vanilla way to do it - I forget sometimes about looking up DLC block and what might not be available to a viewer. 👍🏼
Any way to get them to rotate reliably to snap into a moving grid while in space? Can’t get the recorder to do it right but that remote trick seems promising. Just was trying to not use scripts and half these halves of a drone to come together when they done.
I've found the cause of the reason it happend to me: i downloaded a trailer and it had a auto bale loading mode when i used that to pick up bales some of them would glitch and stay on the trailer. I cant move them in any way they just float in the air and to get rid of it i sold the trailer and if i tried to save after that event it had the loading.
As I understand {Miner} in cutom data is name of specific blocks which are located in your miner. But I have a question. How to rename all blocks in my miner to use this custom data. Especially when we are talkin about command that displays damage. Thanks for reply!
Let me see if this helps... At about 10:57 in the video when you see a command like this - DamageX {Miner} - "Miner" is referring to the name of the entire grid...I named my entire ship "Miner" in the ships Info tab. Any functional blocks (connectors, guns, cockpits, thrusters, etc...) on that named grid that have taken damage will be displayed. You don't need to rename any specific blocks. When you see a command like - CargoAll {G:Drills - Miner} - "Miner" is part of the Group (G:) name I've given to the all the drills..."Drills - Miner" is the group name. When you see a command like - Working {Hydrogen Engine 1 - Miner} - "Miner" is part of the specific block's name, where I named a specific hydrogen tank..."Hydrogen Engine 1 - Miner" as the block's full name. Hope that helps!
So to make it work on ship I should name shop in that way which i will use in script? Sory for dumb question cause it doesnt work for me. Maybe it doesnt because preveously i rewritr that custom data from your video without changing name of ship, nów ive changed but still no result
I found solution, its not as in your video but it works. Ive added instead {Miner} this: T: *. Found this in documentantion. But im still curious why it doesnt work like youve shown
@doubleteam905 I don't really know (because I don't have a console), but I think I may of heard it said that this feature isn't available on consoles...I just don't have the ability to confirm one way or the other.
@@Oearth I is a thing is just different and sometimes it just dosen't work I played around with it on my creative world on playstation you have look at the bottom left of the menu and if it says convert ship or station then you can do it and even then sometimes you still can't for some reason
@doubleteam905 I thought of something that might help. For a grid to be converted it has to be complete stable and not moving in any way. Even a subgrid on like a rotor or piston that might be under a slight bit of stress can make the grid 'jiggle' almost imperceptibly which will make the option unavailable. If you get in a cockpit seat of the 'ship grid' and look at your speed, it should be nice and stable at 0.00 - if you see any flickering of numbers, something is jiggling.
@Brimstonewolf It was a kinda' intentional for this challenge to have it open. When I landed on that plateau on Pertam that had insufficient oxygen, I decided that it would be too easy for my to just put an O2 bottle in my backpack and keep the helmet closed - so I left it open. What I had not counted on was that the dust storm would actually damage me! I think I've had dust/sand storms take away my oxygen, and because I just always play with the helmet closed, I hadn't even considered I'd take damage. Having made the decision though to have it open on the planet, I decided to just heal through it on the survival kit, which then made my 1 survival kit an even more critical piece of survival equipment for the challenge, and might lead to other gameplay for the vid. Good observation though!! It would be the typical/natural move.
