Softball hitting and pitching instructional videos. Individual lessons. Team practices for 2025 graduates. Working fundamentals to stay one step ahead!
What a great video. Thanks. If you have time. What would you say is the best place for ball release. Like is there a visual reference you could share. Front hip, between hips, back leg? Thank you.
Oh cool thanks, well i have some things i do to help her like i have her pitch from one knee, i also bought the cannonball, which is a heavier ball, i also, took 2 pieces of wood and have her balance on that and pitch any other drills or things you can suggest would be awesome. Thanks
This instruction really parallels what I'm teaching my 9 and 10 year old daughters. It is very difficult getting them to turn the barrel to get pulled behind their rear hip/leg. "Snap behind the weight" is a cue I haven't used, I like it. Any other tips coach? Thank you!
This channel is a little piece of gold for coaches starting out. So many great drills and content for individual lessons out there, but not so many in team settings. This is a o great to see.
Hey I’m going to try that. I have two young pitchers that always open their shoulder like you pointed out. I’ll let you know know how it turns out. Thanks for the lesson
Hey coach, love your videos and all your advice. I was just offered the head softball coach position at my school and I'm nervous. I've only been an assistant for one season and I'm still learning the game and I want my girls to succeed. Any tips for a new head coach?
9:40 WAS THAT the devil..."We've got to fix that" lol. Tough with an athlete like that that wants to throw before she truly listens to the teaching. Great job and content.
Thanks coach, this is my first year coaching softball and I need all the help I can get. They have me coaching high school JV and I am liking your videos, so I will try and implement your drills in my practice.
I think I lost In pharmacist ungraduated Here in Egypt you must learn the trade names of drugs the generic names don't mean any think so I don't get comfortable with it So I learn on After effet And all Adobe collection to make videos and also I feel that I'm out Away of my what I had done in whole my learning life and go to things I love it but without success init it don't get money . Do u understand me 😅
Do you have your Outies doing all these same drills? And was that just pitchers doing the drill where they receive the ball, deflect and then throw around the bases?
Great practice! I love the stations and how many balls the players are seeing in such a short time. One question...how do you manage this type of practice if your catchers are also key infielders? One of my catchers is my starting SS and one other is back up 3rd base...
Although I can see the usefulness on occasion using the bounce back nets I would think girls might get bored after a while using it all the time. I do like that 1st drill in the video where the girls are like in a carousel. What I do love about your practice which I do when I coach is to keep them moving at all times.
Yes- I try to keep it different each time working on the mechanics and keep them moving so they don't get bored, have a different challenge, and use variety in my practices each time.
Sorry- I had no idea I had comments on here. So sorry for the late response. I used it to take her lower half out of it and really focus on the core, scap, and turn of the barrel.
