Still one of the most impressive covers I’ve seen. Bar none. It takes so much skill and control to absolutely carry a song with just vocals, and very light accompaniment. I hope it gets back up soon and the attention it deserves
@@Sunwaytiger I'm not really sure either, but I think management thought they had perms to cover the song and gave Nerissa approval to upload it. However, the cover that Nerissa did is a different version of the original Elfen Lied opening. So technically, the perms only covered the original version, not the choral like version that Nerissa sang. And as of today, they have yet to get perms for the version that Nerissa sang so the song is basically gone from Hololive official channels. A real shame because this is one of the best covers from Nerissa and one of my favorites from Hololive in general.

I mean Elfen Lied has full rights to the song. I don't think Japan as a whole does much in the way of claiming videos, which is why all the archived karaoke videos have almost only Japanese songs, they don't have to ask for permission. This, however, is a strange exception.

Man, I was so glad I had downloaded the cover to my phone the day it came out when I realized it was taken down lol I've hit PRs to this song, shit's a good luck charm
I'll try to find more lost media and post it here in the future too if I get to, but this stuff needs to be done. It's sad to see such talent be wasted because of bad actors.
