I had Tori taken out first. Then extractions of all teeth. I had to go back to the dentist 10 times to get rid of bone spurs! They felt like tiny blades! So, 4 & 1/2 months later, I finally got them all. But since the dentist cut my gums every time to get the bone spurs out, I never could heal my mouth. It's just now starting to feel better. But I have not been able to wear my dentures yet. I tried them on today. Did everything correctly and I used adhesive. They fell out 5 minutes later! They don't fit. I'm going back tomorrow to get new dentures made. Hopefully those will work. Since I could never heal, I drank protein drinks, and soft foods. I lost 30 lbs!
Dropping a denture doesn't usually break it. Biting down on a bristle or something tiny and hard and bam either broken or cracked. Has happened to me twice.
Is this transitional denture you're talking about the same as what my denturist referred to as an interim denture. I opted for the interim dentures instead of immediate dentures for the same reason you described in this video
I've watched many denture videos on RU-vid, and this is the first one that makes sense and is easy to understand. Your explanation of each step and the details really makes a difference. I wish you could make my dentures. I would trust your work. Anyway, thanks for doing a good job on the video. I have to make my own dentures, and it's super useful for me to have an understanding of the process.
Sir, I still don’t understand that how you decided how much to “high” the gum. Since patient has a huge amount of bone loss after he/she lost teeth for so long, how you know the proper hight of the “bone/ gum/wax” the patient should have? Thank you. Btw, I’m a DA student.
I have two bone chips from an extraction on lower gum and are painful requiring Anbesol Analgesic and two 200 mg ibuprofen every four hours to relieve the pain ( as is no pressure) Dentist looked at it after day 25 and said it will eventually go away told me to be patient.

Dr Parisein Can you recommend me a very good denture lab here in Atlanta ga. Need an upper partial denture repaired. It fell on floor and split in half. About how much, will that cost without dental insurance??😂😂😂 Thanks

I have gotten 14 bones spurs out of my My gums and I’m still continuing to get them out of my gum, This is three weeks after I had three teeth removed due to having them fractured I ordered the Dental Tweezers From Amazon and I’m able to get in there further to get them out can tell you that I have been in a lot of pain, crying, And my gums have even gotten Infected and my dentist did not care. I had to switch to another dentist in the middle of this because he told me my gums were too complicated and he cannot do anything else.
Ok, I fostered a dog and she ate my teeth. I only had them for about 2 months before she did this. I was fortunate to save what I could. So, the question is, can they REALLY be fixed since they're in pieces? Please help. I don't have the money to replace them, I'm diabetic and need to get my nutrition in. The dentist who removed my teeth, was supposed to remove 3 teeth and took them all, with shaving my jaw bone down to where the teeth cannot fit. What suggestions do you have?

Got my impressions done the other day. It is thick like Playdoe but it was thick so I didn't gag. Now I go back in 2 weeks for my wax try in's & I'm assuming my bite. Since my dentist sends everything off to a lab in Houston.
Do the lingual cusps of the upper posteriors occlude with the flat plane that you set out underneath or is setting just the facial cusps into the flat plane good enough?
(You can skip down to last sentence if you just want to know what my question is) I had a deep cavity that had to go... then boom.. on day 3 a bone is on the edge of my gum. Went back to the dentist and long behold he cant just pull it out. He numbed me up 6x and I could still feel the excruciating pain of him twisting it and eventually chipping some off. . I have a throbbing headache stiff jaw. And I have to take a narcotic just to trick my brain into saying "what pain".. did I mention the ever present throbbing pain? I am not getting dentures. And im not sure if shaving my jaw is the best thing if im not getting dentures. Wouldnt it throw off my "bite"? I need this spur gone though 😢
I’m so glad I found your video. Sharp bone fragments left after my wisdom tooth surgery. I’m scheduled to see my dentist next week January 11, 2024. I was freaking out and having a pain, but manageable. I thank you explaining what the expectations about bone spurs 🙏❤️
Hi , I’m I the uk and have had a new set of dentures and I feel they’re much too big for my mouth and huge compared to my old dentures, they look more like a man’s jaw could they have been mixed up in the lab?
What do you do after extraction and tiny teeth fragments are left in the hole area I've been trying to pick them out myself but it's not working. I have at least 4 teeth shards (crumbs) & the area is swollen so tender & discomfort
