I absolutely adore this song and have done myself a video using it but with the ottomans sultanas theme but it's also a perfect fit for York and Tudors queens as well as lot of feminine figures in general truly ❤️ I love all the parallels here especially between Margaret and Elizabeth talking about their late mothers and all the other links you've made between the characters emphasizing the burden they carried and therefore the tradition. As women in power, as queens they all have been carrying the same legacy wether they have been related by blood or not. Thank you again for the amazing tribute.
Well here the wives of kings are more respected than the mothers of the king but in the great ottoman empire its opposite the Valide Sultan is more powerful than Haseki Sultans
@@abeerabatool8953 well at some points i think European rules were better. But ottoman valide sultan were mostly previous slaves so they deserve some respect. Many people don't understand that when a concubine becomes a valide sultan she's freed.
@@abeerabatool8953 There was alot of injustice. But there was a bit of democracy in monarchy of Europe, but turk sultan were considered owner of the state that creepy.
They're not equal, Elizabeth, even tho, a widow now, is still Queen, thus, she outranks Duchess Cecily + her son is the reigning King, Edward IV had died, therefore, downgrading Cecily even further away.

We do all the time. Women are still expected to change their last names after marriage, to work outside the home, as well as to cook, clean, and raise children. And to obey their husbands. America has still not had a female leader. England accepted queens almost 500 years ago.
It's true, TSP portrays Henry and Mary's relationship poorly, at least in the early years. He seemed happy with his daughter but over time he seemed to despair at not being able to have a legitimate male child. 💔
If Henry did not love his wonderful daughter, I do because I feel sorry for what she has suffered through life. She would have been a better queen if she had been treated better. She is not cold and nasty, Henry is like that, he is the villain, Mary is the victim.
I hate the fact when people talk about the Tudors they only talk about Elizabeth and say stuff like Elizabeth had it more hard like when Anne Boleyn Elizabeth's mother became queen she treated mary like a maid and I don't think Elizabeth was ever treated like that
Yes, some who overlook Mary's bad life should live it for a few days and see how stressful and disgusting it was with Henry as the main actor in her mistreatment. I love her and I will always love her because I regret it every day. How much she suffered and it broke her, poor thing.
@@hadiya... I understand her because I have researched her a lot and she is my favorite historical figure. It's sad that her life was like that, she deserved it the least. I love her so much. I had a wonderful time reading about her and her life and I admired how stubborn, brave and determined she was.
@@user-te6vy1tc8iyes she was determined to make England fit again she didn't do that but her sister did but yk mary tried and she wasn't even the bloody Elizabeth the first killed twice the amount of people even her own cousin now that evil henery killed even. More henery killed more then double triple the amount of mary killed and people still call her bloody I feel like actual bloody people would at least kill 500 people
This is a BEAUTIFUL edit! I love these sisters bond amd relationship, if the men around their reigns hadn't put them against eachother they would have never grown apart in the future ❤
Hated Anne in this show, but she didn't deserve this. After all those years of a faithful and loving marriage just for her husband to start lusting after a younger and more beautiful woman. And yes, Richard was using Lizzie, but he still cheated on Anne physically (by kissing Lizzie back) and emotionally (by lusting for Lizzie).
YOU MADE MY DAY WHEN YOU SAID SOMETHING NICE ABOUT MARY. People love her now that she is gone, but if she was alive in the twenty-first century, I would tell her that it is not true that no one loves her, I love her because I feel bad. She was intelligent, educated, and I think somewhere deeply kind, she wasn't like that because she didn't have anyone to treat her in a nice way because no one treated her like that, why would she do that? If only she had a better life. BURN IN HELL, HENRY VIII, YOU FOOL! I know that Henry is no one's favorite of the Tudors. Mary loved her father, mother, maybe Elizabeth, I know it was Edward VI because his mother died, so she took care of him. She hated her father, however, because he did not love her as she loved him, but rejected her.
Henry was so focused on his wife giving him a son but she gave him so much more and he was so stupid he couldn’t see it. All hail Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Ann Boleyn.
they had every reason to be jealousy, they deserved so much better. Cecily the most, she always wanna be like her sister because everyone Forget her. And Isabella wanna be like Elizabeth so much, but she never can be what she is.
