Those scones are going to be like paper weights! You have way overworked the dough The dough should be very slightly crumbly and just barely holding together when you cut it out.
They all looked delicious but the background music is extremely LOUD. Had to turn the volume all the way down. Can you find a more subdued, softer and warm sound?
Red Tamarillo * (tree tomatoes) mixed with white pepper/salt and raw garlic is awesome. dare you to try them. cheese sticks and lemon slice, 2.45 am and you have me baking. thank you for sharing.
I tried the mini muffin pan cheese cake recipe and it was good. I tried that orange scone recipe and it turned out burnt the first batch. 425 for fifteen minutes is way too long in My oven. I did the second batch like I do cookies. It really wasn’t good either. They all tasted bitter and they rose like a sugar cookie and not a biscuit. They were flat. Unless I did something wrong? I have never had a scone and don’t know what they are suppose to look like and how thick you roll it out. Video didn’t show the thickness of them. The dough tasted great. The end result was bland and bitter. I don’t think jelly and butter on top would do much to hide the bitterness. Won’t use that recipe again. It’s too tricky if I did it wrong? No recipe here to follow. Had to keep looking at the video back and forth. Oh well! Like I said, the cheese cake one was good. Orange scones, not so good. They were a flop for me.
They turned out fine for me! It just took a little effort to get them out of the cups to fill them without crumbling. I got it and they are good and pretty! The orange scones, no. Bland and bitter and flat. Not good.
