Hi!!! You’re amazing & soon as I figure out where to get some pulleys…I’ll be trying ur formula:))) just wanted to ask,.. you think a ladder or two could be used instead of the the wood? I don’t know anything about anything but I was hoping bc I already have a couple set up in front of where I need this tv lol

I appreciate the dedication and pulling this off with intelligent thinking. I was faced with this same thing with my 77 inch being too much for me alone. I just waited for the mailman to come the next day, asked him for 30 seconds of his time, gave him a cold one, and 10 bucks and called it a day.🤷🏽‍♂️

Yo this is awesome! Even for a young buck, those 75'ers are borderline impossible to do alone. I tried to get one a few years ago through online delivery and broke 3 of them even with 2 people. still got refunded due to how easily those screens break under the smallest amounts of sheer/warping forces when they first came out. may give it a try again after seeing this. thanks!!!

I tried to covered my son's bedroom skylight with cardboard too. But just holding under the space for few minutes to get the measurements the board got so hot! Just wounding is it safe using the cardboard? How was your experience with it?

I only used carboard for a couple of days, and then replaced it with some 1/8" thick plywood. I don't think heat would be an issue but better safe than sorry, thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Okay, I could figure that out myself. I don't really want to go to the trouble of installing a pulley system in my living room for something I'm going to do just once. I then would have to patch up and paint everything where the pulley was attached. I was looking more for a lifting and handling technique. I found one here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AJ7MdKKAZjs.html
@robsuttononline2908
@robsuttononline2908 4 месяца назад
DrTandem2729, I didn't drill any holes or attach the pulleys to the wall, they were attached to the standalone wood frame which was clamped to the wall, when it was all said and done there was no holes, mars, marks to patch.
@drtandem2729
@drtandem2729 4 месяца назад
@@robsuttononline2908 I didn't want to build a frame and I didn't want to go out and buy pulleys. I hung it by myself, today. I simply lifted it and hung it on the bracket. The top of the bracket was about 6.5' from the floor. I'm about 5' 11" and I'm 67. Less thinking and more doing was the answer.

@Youtubeparolee 5 месяцев назад
@@aftoy Gotcha. I completely understand the fence line. I have close to 1000’ of road front fence line. I have a trimmer on wheels also. I bought mine that way. It actually looks like a big wheeled push mower with a trimmer head. It’s very convenient. I guess me having that I was a bit confused with your rig. I also have regular trimmers too.
@robsuttononline2908
@robsuttononline2908 5 месяцев назад
My front lawn is so tiny I didn’t want to buy a lawnmower. The wheels just give me more control cutting the grass so it looks uniform, and when I’m cutting weeds outside the fence for an hour or so it makes it easier on the muscles.

Any special technique used in placing the tape? Did you just eyeball it?
@robsuttononline2908
@robsuttononline2908 5 месяцев назад
Sorry, I used the "eyeball" technique. After you've done this a few dozen times it's pretty easy. Try for about 1/8" each side of the joint, apply the caulk, strike it off, and remove the tape. If it doesn't look quite right immediately use a damp rag/cloth/paper towel to remove it and do it again. That's why I recommend using a water based adhesive, because it's easy to cleanup and remove if need be. Be brave. Give it a go, and you will have great results!

This is pretty smart. I employed the elementary school technique of lifting it with one hand from the center of the TV and man-handling it up on the wall. I definitely don't recommend my approach, but I got it on the second try and luckily without damaging anything, aside from my back for a couple of days.

Hi Rob, Nice video! I just did the exact same thing on one side of my house, and thought I'd check YT to see if anyone else was doing something similar. It's nice that your vents span the entire eave width; mine are only 14 in x 2¾ in. One neat thing about my vents, is that they sit within a slightly larger built-in frame, held in only by friction. So I can just pry the vent out to work on it. ( I don't take any credit; the house came like that). At the end, it sounds like you painted the screening with house paint, right? How has the turned out? My understanding is that ordinary paints don't adhere well to galvanized metal. But if it's working out for you, I wonder if it's because the paint is cohesively encapsulating each wire segment in the mesh, more than actually adhering to the metal itself.

The position of the guys arm is not correct. And the Lottery numbers should be arranged on a chart, in a form of a half circle, say, 6 numbers on each chart. The pendulum should be trained to only oscillate towards the number, not rotate.

I physically lifted my 75 inch tv onto its stand on my own. The weight was not the problem, but the sheer size of the screen was the biggest issue, I got it done though, and all I know is I am glad I got it in place without damage, haha.
