Hey artie bro, did you ever imagine a day would come that you sang McCartney's songs way better than McCartney could? LOL! As long as he's selling tickets, and he always packs every venue and in Brazil there's upward of 80,000 people!!! As long as people keep paying thousands to see him, hey, go for it, if anyone earned it, it's you Paul! But, let me be blunt - I started playing guitar and singing which lead me into writing because I loved the Beatles since the first time I heard a Beatle song, and I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 4 and on my way to a friend's house when I past a volkswagen bug parked at the curb with a passenger in the car and I heard Penny Lane on his radio!! Even at 4 years old I recognised that song as being special and I have to older sisters, one 15 years older, the other 17 years older. They started blasting the Beatles from their basement bedroom and rec room and I just couldn't get enough! I was exposed to a huge variety of music from 1950 doo-wop to 1960s and the British invasion, then 1970s, the era of the true giant bands/writers/performers through hearing it blasting from the basement! I absolutely fell in love with Motown, that's when cool became ethereal, and floated out of all those massive stars and their incredible lyrics, along with the "Funk Brothers" masters at their craft!! I have to be real, McCartney can barely speak and he damn sure can't sing anymore. I wouldn't pay the outrageous price on his tickets to see him. I really hope, for his sake and his legacy, that he knows it's time, and he doesn't keep going and become "that guy" The trouble with many truly great giants in the music world is they crave the atmosphere of a huge audience worshipping them and they can't bring themselves to stop while their on top. Of all the artists past their prime and time, McCartney tops them all where this deeply seeded lust for performing live and being worshipped. He craves and lusts after it and if he doesn't pull his fat head out of his ass soon, it'll be trapped up there till he boots the bucket. At the same time, if people still pay huge money to see him, why not? But it will and to a degree already has begun to hurt his legacy. Jack ~'()'~
Don't you love it when you drop a couple of hunny to see a live performance and some tool who thinks he/she can sing starts singing every song!! That's my favourite...sigh I was at an Eagles concert in Toronto with my wife, my brother, who was terminally ill and his wife. This glue-bag woman started singing right at the very first song, and I lasted to about four or five songs she was singing and with feeling, but she couldn't hit a true note except by accident. Finally I couldn't take it, and other people all around her were cracking but she was so hypnotized by her own voice that she was oblivious! So, I turned around and looked right into her eyes and said "do you want me to call 911"? That perplexed her and she said "why would you call 911"? I replied, because you sound like you're in serious pain? The 2 watt light bulb went off, and her face turned beat red. That menace didn't utter another word for the rest of the show. You get those ignorant shit for brains "superstars" at every damn show. They're totally clueless that everyone else didn't buy tickets to hear them sing!! Jack ~'()'~
Artie has a youtube channel where he talks about his vintage Höffner violin bass's Beatles topics and even Wings, as well as pretty much anything. He's a genuinely great guy and he's always replied to my posts, and anyone else who has questions or just wants to comment about how much they love his performances! His other tribute band is every bit as awesome as the Fab Four and called "Wingsband" the woman playing Linda is also fantastic. Here's a link to a live performance singing "My Love" check it out you'll be really happy you did! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-60NuyC032Kk.html&pp=ygUSd2luZ3MgYmFuZCB0cmlidXRl Jack ~'()'~
Thank you for the video Jake Jacobs, the fact of listening to and observing these four singers, the closest thing I have seen to the legendary British Group "The Beatles", they are the best, I come back and thank you for the video, "The Fab Four" They are the best, blessings from a distance from the South American City of Guayaquil-Ecuador...
I just discovered U guys only 2 or 3 years ago, but recently I learned your tribute band goes back to at least the year 2000 !! HOLY SCHNIKES !! THAT'S AT LEAST 24 YEARS AGO . If you count from 1960 when The Beatles actually were a band under a slightly different name spelling, that's only 10 years. Even if U count from 1957 when John and Paul met, that's 13 years !! And the original guys toured till 1967 ? (Seven years ?), after which they focused on being a "studio" band !! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN TOURING at least THREE TIMES the amount of time The Beatles toured !! THAT'S AMAZING -- and a testament to both the talent of the original guys AND U GUYS !! AND YOUR LOVE AND DEDICATION to them -- and your craft, in your own right !! Peace & LUV Fab Four !! 5/07/2024
These guys are still the BEST Beatles tribute band in my opinion. The videos of their shows remind me of when I saw 'Beatlemania' back in 1983, except the then audience (girls) were screaming soooooo loooud (like the REAL Beatles shows!) that you couldn't hear it the best. And I was half deaf the next day.
Javier Parisi, first off, that song sung by John Lennon in the movie Help was played on a 12 string hollow body guitar, not a normal 6 string guitar & the recording was much better. U really need to get together with Lenn Johnston to see who is the better John Lennon.
I feel Ike that with this tribute group, the Beatles are all still young, alive and well. And even ready to release new albums. We need these gentlemen to carry their energy forward and keep the ‘experience’ alive, more than ever. I have been to many of their shows. It is amazing to hear the crowd (of all ages) singing along with every song. Carry on lads, superb work. Cheers.
ESTA PERFECTO PARA PRESENTARSE EN UN CONCURSO DE IMITADORES DE JHON LENNON, DE HECHO LE IRIA MUY BIENN, DE HECHO LA VOZ NECESITA PRACTICARLA UN POCO MAS..
Maravilhosos! Esplêndidos! Sensacionais! Extraordinários! A Melhor Banda Cover dos Inesquecíveis e Eternos THE BEATLES! Saudades daqueles Gênios que Transformaram o Estilo e a Cultura Musical do Mundo! Um Brinde a Eles!
How fitting to perform right where it all started, and in such grand style. Having played in cover bands for thirty-odd years and devoted many long hours of practice doing a credible job of everyone from the Stones to Huey Lewis to Garth Brooks to Strauss, I'm not usually impressed by one group mimicking the songs of one group, but these guys excel at their craft. Their "John" is uncannily like an incarnation of Maestro Lennon himself.
