Hi! I don’t want to take the bike apart again but here is the parts diagram to show how everything should fit www.partzilla.com/catalog/kawasaki/motorcycle/2022/ninja-400-ex400hnfan/rear-wheel-chain
The 500 is pretty much the same bike as the 400 with just some changes to the engine so it should work. It def helps positioning immensely for me. There are others for even more aggressive positioning but any further than this set up you have to either cut the fairings or get race fairings. They are def safe as long as they are installed correctly. These are made my woodcraft which is a solid company that makes a lot of products for track/race bikes.
@@Rex1000_RR sounds good! They actually make ninja 500 ones. I'm just wanting to make sure they are going to be less upright seating than the stock ones
Hi! BMW has mats but they’re a lot more expensive. These ones were off of Amazon and have been great. Good quality and def cuts down on cleaning time Floor mats: a.co/d/3BTRXfl Cargo mat: a.co/d/4Ru11vO
You’re entitled to your opinion but to me true M vehicles retain the M badging. M Sports like mine are the tri-color badging. Got it on my 335i M Sport as well 🤟🏾🤟🏾
Honestly I don’t think it helps or hurts. Def not anything wind tested. I get about 20-21 mpg primarily city driving and mostly in eco mode. Didn’t change after adding splitter. I drive fairly quick but don’t have a lead foot. Got heavy popo in my area and they love to pull people over
Very informative videos. We are also looking to get an X7, and your review and other videos sealed the deal for me. I am also planning to emulate your X7’s look once we get ours. Thanks for providing all the links in your other video. Can you share details on how you do the ceramic coating yourself and what products you use? Also, any thoughts on getting bucket seats vs. a bench? I am leaning towards a bench because it allows the second row to fully fold down, and the cup holders for kids would be much more accessible being in the middle as opposed to on the floor.
Thanks for the support! Just made a video answering your questions. Please let me know if you have anything else you would like for me to address. Good luck with the purchase of your x7! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mYSg-0y6UaE.htmlsi=PLlZB4DnQHxmxLyK
Thanks for the video review. I really appreciate it, and it's great to hear a review from someone who actually owns the car and uses it daily! I actually agree that the 40i is probably the better choice long term, my wife will also be using the car daily and me on the weekends only.
Here’s the link for the lever guards just some cheap ones from Amazon can prob find even cheaper on aliexpress. Def not the best but works for my purposes a.co/d/0qhTEO6 The bar end came pre installed on the woodcraft clip-on www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-kawasaki-ninja-400-2018-clip-on-riser-assembly-w-bars/
Would be great to get a review from you about the car for a family and pros and cons etc. looking to pull the trigger on one of these but not sure about the m40i or the M60i
Made a quick video for you. Let me know if you had any specific questions ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JPusVRwz7Vg.htmlsi=5f4DCCTLAAM4qpaf
Is yours from woodcraft? These are just pushed in there so you just use a set of pliers and yank it out. Takes some effort. You can try to not damage the barend but I found you had to really squeeze the pliers so mine got a few scratches. Not a big deal since I’m not going to use the bar ends anyway
Are you having trouble with something? There’s not much to it just gotta remove the bolt on the side of the bar end and switch it out for the lever guard. Just position the lever guard correctly based on your preference and loctite for extra security. Let me know if you have any questions. I got new clip-ons coming in so I’ll make a more thorough video when I’m installing those in the coming weeks
That’s seems odd to me was it brake fluid? That system needs to be air-tight otherwise you won’t have proper brake pressure. Def want to try to verify where the fluid came from. Check the pads and make sure the pistons aren’t pitted. Maybe afterwords quickly bleed the brakes and top off your brake fluid. Make sure you have strong brake pressure before you ride.
@@MikeRideskeep working on it man. The first go around can be tricky but def good skills to learn and have the pride of being able to take care of your bike properly 😊
Hey, I was analyzing your RU-vid Channel. I saw there are some big problems in your channel. As a result you didn't get views from video. I can solve it freely if you give me opportunity. I've got some exciting plans for your Channel, and I'm eager to share them with you. Let's connect and explore the possibilities.
Honestly I’m not sure. The reason to switch to braided lines is because it doesn’t undergo hose expansion under pressure. This allows you to have more feel and a better response when braking.
I’m just under 4k miles now and def had a lot more to go. Hard to say exactly how much tho. Front def had a lot more to go than rear. Road condition and riding style def play a big role in how long tires last. In Florida we have a lot of straight roads so more likely for the tire becoming squared off as well. Always important to do a pre-ride inspections and pay attention to those wear bars
If the aftermarket shock you’re using is the same length then you do not. Can just switch out the shocks without having to mess with the brackets at all
I did not. I’m not too heavy only weigh about 165. The aftermarket shock allows for more adjustments. Plus it allows the rear to feel a lot more planted and less bouncy.
I’m not sure the brand. Just some cheap ones I got off amazon years ago. Def not the best. Pitbull stands are great and honestly for a front stand if you don’t have a spool then much safer and easier to get the stand that inserts into your lower triple tree (steering stem). Rears def want to use spool stands def makes it much easier/safer as well
I might do something like that in the future but the reason I dropped down to a 400 was to become a better rider. They sell a Ram air but might not be worth it for this bike. Some people have also cut the airbox and adding stacks. I plan on tuning the bike eventually so will most likely figure it out by then
Just a disclaimer I had to take the splitter off. It’s pretty thin and just the way the front splitter works puts a lot of pressure on it. Looks great but def needs to be sturdier especially if you drive fast.
For everything here no but to really get more power out of the engine then it’s a good idea to flash it. I’m thinking of eventually doing a dyno flash but I haven’t reached my limits just yet with the current set up so not in a rush to do so

That’s interesting to note thanks for the heads up! Mine hasn’t changed too much but I also didn’t fill it to the brim just upper third of the tick marks in the glass. I’m def going to keep an eye on it tho.
I have noticed that when you put oil in the engine and cheek the sight window then go ridding for a few days the oil level comes up alot 😳 it can make oil get in to the throttle body and stuffs everything up , so i always put less in the engine now and a few days later its at the right level ( Higher that it was when i filled it up ) just a little tip , if you just fill to the middle level then wait a fews days you will see how much different it is it will be over the top line
When you say shifter and rear brake you’re talking about the levers right? It’s all part of the rearsets from Kemimoto. Mine are in black. The link only goes titanium which is a little cheaper but the black is not bad either $136.39 Just found this amazing item on AliExpress.
