What happened at city is that City is a system team and you can only do as much in a system. You need to be at a certain position at a certain time and if you are not, you expose yourself and the team. Listen to T. Henry when he talks about how he almost had a fall out with Pep after he was told where to be on the pitch and he ignored it and went on to score a goal but he was taken off at half time. Grealish is not a a system player, he is expressive that is why he is in other people's shadow now at city.
