They are a wonderful addition to our family, it has meant some adjustments and a lot of sweeping but now my blue desk has its own cage, hopefully I’ll get back in the routine of making some regular creative videos again 😂🐰🐰👍🏻💕

Hi, so far I’ve made loads of needle and sewing books - video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TiyuWCERsuU.htmlsi=UUZ0h0kyR2EqEMZ1 Plus some jewellery/brooches, doll items, coasters/mug rugs, mini pouches and I’m uploading a video soon on how to make a glasses case. I have a couple of other ideas rattling round my mind too 😂 They are very versatile! Thanks for watching and for your comment 👍💕
This is a longer chatty video, the tools turn out great and it was nice to do a video that I didn’t have to edit, so if you do watch, this is in the raw state 😂💕
Hello from the U.K.! Thank you so much for commenting, it’s really lovely to hear from you. How fabulous, you will have a wonderful time playing with your machine 💕 There is a great RU-vid channel called ‘Stitch and create’, (@StitchandCreate) Emma does some amazing textile art using her machine combined with free motion embroidery, she’s very talented and great to watch, definitely worth checking her out. Have a fun time and let me know how you get on 💕 best wishes Heather 💖
I went to Ikea yesterday with my husband to get a couple of box frames for some textile art and my husband bought me this for the sewing room! Love it!! 🥰
Hi 👋 thanks for watching and commenting. I’m thinking of adding some of them to my Etsy shop in the next few days, but they aren’t suitable for use for children’s toys, they are just for textile art pieces for adults as they are only small pieces. They are currently available as a digital download so you could print them on fabric yourself if you like. 👍🏻 💕
Hi - I have added them today as the printed fabric faces (affiliate link to the listing on Etsy): creatoriq.cc/3VzaJ7w and these are the digital printable faces I have: creatoriq.cc/3yXeECk
I know this isn't to everyone's taste, but I really enjoyed the process of making this little creativity art doll, the sashiko stitching is lovely to do as it's so relaxing and I love the way her little body/jacket back turned out, I think she's cute! 🥰
Hi - the paint as shown top row of stars, left to right: 2836E CHAMPAGNE, 2786E GOLD, 2796E HOLOGRAM, 2787E SILVER, 2797E BLACK bottom row of stars left to right: 2792E RED, 2875E JELLYBEAN PINK, 2791E PURPLE, 2790E TURQUOISE, 2794E EMERALD To get decent coverage you may need more than one coat and make sure you shake the bottle well first! I hope this helps, best wishes and thanks for watching, Heather 💕👍
Hi, thanks for watching, you’re right, the technique is great for so many things. They coaster idea works well though, mine are great, I put some cotton quilt batting in between the layers in mine so they are just like little rugs/mats and soak up small amounts of condensation moisture from the bottom of glasses or drips from the bottom of my coffee mugs perfectly to protect the surface. Obviously any coaster would struggle if you have loads of liquid so clearly not advised to leave them soaking in liquid just in case! 💕
Lovely combination of denim, gold & white thread. The circles used for earrings would make great patches to sew on to a bag or jeans. Thanks for posting.
lol cashmere wool now I’ll never find that in my scrap bag. Not that I wouldn’t want it can’t afford it and I’m in a small town in Tennessee not likely but I will find a replacement
😂 lol it’s just tiny scraps of cashmere in mine but they are so soft I just love to stitch with them. I used to Upcycle old cashmere garments and I still have some treasured leftovers luckily, a little goes a long way. There are some synthetics that feel so soft though, my friend have me a couple of acrylic sweaters a while ago and those are also super soft too 💕 thank you again, for watching & for commenting 👍💕 I hope you are well and having a great weekend 💕
Hi Alexandra 👋🏻💕thank you so much for your kind words 💕💖 I think old clothing is such a wonderful source of material for stitching 🧵 I’m glad to hear you Upcycle and recycle your old clothes too 👍I watched a documentary the other day about clothing waste and it’s shocking how much ends up in landfill 😳 I just love the challenge of making it into something new💖thank you for watching too 💕 best wishes Heather 💕
@@alexandraalmeida3661 me too & I agree, environmentally better, we have a similar mindset! It’s nice to shop at charity shops as well as it’s for a good cause too 👍 💕
I appreciate your creativity it’s unusual to find something absolutely new with fiber material that is unique. I started watching because of the stitching of the rounds the surprise for me was the jewelry take of the material.
Thank you 👍 I do love the idea of making unique textile jewellery, it’s like wearing your own artwork. The circles are very versatile too, they would be great for decorating all manner of accessories and clothes👖
Yes I’m using both terms! I think with the coasters being a completely new type of item which are of a higher value to me than a pair of old jeans, they are definitely ‘up-cycled’. Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment 👍💕
