Welcome to my life! I'm Lavender and I'm based in Singapore! Follow me as I eat my way around the world, spend time with loved ones, and embark on big projects! From food to luxury lifestyle reviews, I've got you covered! 😉 Good vibes only 💜
it is my pleasure! so grateful that they make it free of charge! do remember to go early as the lunch queue for the cafe is very long. you can only make prior reservations for the cafe if you intend to eat a proper meal from their lunch menu. If you just want to try the aesthetic sweets, then you’ll have to queue up :)
This was Girafe. La Suite I believe is on the 9th floor/rooftop. But it was harder to get a reservation for Girafe. It has to be done 2 weeks before you intend to eat, and I called in exactly 2 weeks before when I couldn’t get it online. I booked for 7pm, but remember to google when sunset is! So you can have at least 30min before sunset, and enjoy after sunset
We used points for our flight and picked budget-friendly accommodations & experiences! Booking early helped a lot as this is a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon :) thank you!
sorry I did not get it this visit - but as we’re big eaters, I always find it more value to order Ala carte. would be best to ask them how many grams of meat you get for the steak omakase, and if you wanna experience their best selections, then go for it :) I’m sure it’ll be enjoyable! I WhatsApp them on +65 9233 2840 . Hope this helps!
@@LiveWithLav after spending more than $500, i walk away from the restaurant feeling hungry and have to go to Jurong Point to eat a sub-par ramen to fill up my belly. Burnt Ends is a can try at least once kind of place but personally I felt that the food couldn't justify the price. I don't think high class restaurant or fine dining restaurant is suitable for bui bui like me who got an insatiable appetite. here is what I have ordered for 2 pax.. I drink more (mostly is refill of still water) than eat. 1. Still Water x 2 - $12.00 2. Grissini $14.00 3. Beef Taco $14.00 4. Pork Belly Vindaloo - $24.00 5. 200 grams Blackmores Striploin - $160 ($80 per 100g) 6. 200 grams Blackmores Striploin - $176 7. Gls Yalumba, Museum Reserve, Antique Tawny - $25.00 8. BE Just grapes - $28.00 9. BEP Remy By The Shore $30.00 10. Sourdough Bread $9.00 11. Franklin's & Son Cola $8.00 Sub Total $498.00 10% Service Charge $49.80 GST $49.30 Total SGD 597.10
Hi! :) The bill shown at the end - $1,220.65 inclusive of member (free sign up) 10% discount.. very high! Because Alaskan King crab cost ~$816 😢 sg prices…. Good service and quality of seafood though.
@@joelyipjr.522 yaaa only special occasions like bday!! for me was family reunion visiting from overseas :) at least they let you take pic with the crab 😅 nice photo for memory
I don't understand the lump in kaya 😅 Its just cos they are homemade and they didnt bother to cook it over a careful fire to a silky smooth texture like how most kaya are
@@LiveWithLav haha its still acceptable to me as long as they are not overly sweet. But Yakun is overrated though. Just cos they sous vide their eggs, they charge premium price 😅😂
Thanks for sharing Lav. I am a Yakun kaya toast fan but I will definitely give this a try, for the nostalgia ambience. Ps I love to bathe my kaya toast in soft boil egg mixture, just like the way you did. 👍🏻
@@LiveWithLav it's way over charged and too expensive! That plate of veggies is only $12-15 per plate at other places 🤣🤣🤣 Should report them to CASE for excessive pricing 😁😂
