I was doing 2oz to a 32oz foam cannon. That's a little strong isn't it. Last time I did 1oz MSN and 1oz Active foam for more foam. Active foam wasn't doing it for the dried small bird poo. MSN destroys it and kills caked on wheel grime. It's gunna replace a few product for me.
I was just watching some videos on the correct way to install a "add a fuse". Most people are installing incorrectly, just like in your video because you can't put the wire leading out of the "add a fuse" facing the left side (where it belongs) there is not enough room. The powered female connector on the block, is on the right side and so is the wire on the "add a fuse", which means your not adding a fuse, your tapping directly into the power side and not actually running the power through the fuse. I have not found one that will accomdate this issue, I thought about adding an additional in line fuse (just in case). Watch the you tube video on correctly installing a "add a fuse" and youll see what im saying. If someone ever does short to ground could be a major issue.
Hey man thanks a lot for making these. you should make more 4runner content. I love that color on your car. Do you know which Fuse i should use if I want to the raptor lights to come on at Ignition instead of Low beam headlights being turned on?
What will happen if I use msn 1:30 on a vehicle that is only protected by Koch chemie s0.03 and I apply that sealant after every wash and I do wash my vehicle every week. Is there any side effects?
They wanted 5-minutes on the old formula to cure then wipe I believe. What was the temperature and humidity in your garage. Time will tell the better story.
Great video. Ur garage looks amazing. Quick question whats the difference between. Msn and superfoam and what are different situations that u would use one over the other ?
The pump probably needs to be replaced. I personally haven’t had it happen but I know it’s a possibility. I would get in contact with Bryan and his team at Aqua Pro.
Love the tiles and the lights. Three questions about your setup. 1. Did you paint or plastidip your Kranzle's electrical box? 2. Did you have to take it off to do it? 3. Did you Paint your CR Spotless housings or did you get gray housings?
It’s diluted 5:1 27 oz water 5 oz of Awh More than enough for all 4 wheels. I get atleast 2 vehicles out of one fill. I use a lot of foam per wheel as well though.
whats the big difference between this, and Green star, and super foam? I've been using Geen star 1:10 in my foam cannon for a pre-wash and I'm thinking about switching that up for MSN, or super foam, or is there another product KC has that would suit better?
Great video. Enjoyed it. I picked it up, too. After the rainshowers here, I went with 40:1 and worked very well for me. Can't wait to try it at 20:1. Thanks for sharing
KCX keeps adding on, I’ve used their products since I’ve started my business, I had to go elsewhere for strong tire cleaners but not anymore now I’m just waiting for them to get a strong water spot remover and bring on some more ceramics
Is this something you can use regularily or is it a little harsh unless the vehicle is extra dirty? Currently using Active foam as my pre wash foam. Just wondering how they compare.
Thanks for the content brother and love the shop! I saw on EC Details KCX tour you mention the combination of MSN as pre-wash with Super foam/active foam as the contact wash if you wanted to strip or prep a car for ceramic coating. I mainly install ppf and ceramic at the shop. How would you dilute these two in an MTM foam cannon/ Kranzle setup just like yours? (I have the OG wall mounted custom pressure washer solution as well) Currently I’m doing an apc rinse if bad, Obsessed Garage Decon Soap before ceramic or PPF packages but bought this combo tonight and have loved everything from Koch Chemie I’ve tried so far. Appreciate the help and God Bless!
For 4% PIR I've had to use 270ml of BH. That's 1:2,7 ratio. For MSN or VBN (Europe) I've been using it 1:10 with very little difference. With the MJJC foam Cannon at 1:5 - 1:7, it creates too much foam so it doesn't stay that long on the panel so for me that's product waste.
Hey Bro, just a tip I've picked up from many professional detailers, it's better to start off the whole wash with an initial foam layer with a soap that has greater PH level in it, for example KochChemie Active Foam, or Super Foam if it's really, really dirty. So layer the vehicle with foam before you do any rinse or before hitting the vehicle with the pressure washer at all. Let the foam dwell on the vehicle for a good 3-5 minutes, depending on the soap you're using, then rinse it off. Then you can either layer the vehicle in another blanket of foam again and go in with a contact wash, or just go in for a contact wash right after washing the initial foam layer off the vehicle. Just a tip. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong nor doing a bad job, but I've learned that if you go to spray the vehicle with the pressure washer first hand before anything, you're driving the dirt and contaminants into the paint at such high pressure, possibly damaging your clear coat or paint in general. So using a soap with a good PH level in it, like I mentioned KochChemie Active Foam which has a 9.5 PH Level, can really help to break down and soften any dirt, grime, contaminants on the vehicle, making it much easier to fall off with the pressure washed rinse, and decreasing the possibility of damaging your paint or clear coat.
Yes all of this I know. I work for Koch-Chemie. However, this is my personal vehicle and coated. I didn’t want to use a pre cleaner for this wash. Customers cars get a pre wash but mine usually doesn’t lol.
@@MtnTownDetail Don't mind the comment. I just saw your latest video, was a great video by the way. This was an old video, I wasn't aware you were still making videos, nor aware the vehicle was coated. 🫡
