Now I just wear regular tennis shoes with insoles they are do able but I gotta replace them like every 3 months but if you needed heels or flats they make them right for your feet now it’s rare to even find a shoe maker! 😢

This is Lacquer inlay, known as luodian in Chinese, is a traditional decorative craft originating in China. It involves embedding thin slices of natural materials such as mother-of-pearl, shells, or pearls into the surface of wooden or lacquered objects to create intricate patterns and designs. This technique gives the objects a unique iridescent shine, with vibrant colors and textures. The luodian craft is commonly used in high-end furniture, musical instruments like the pipa and guzheng, jewelry boxes, and decorative items. The process is meticulous and requires skilled craftsmanship, as each piece must be carefully cut, polished, and embedded into the surface. Historically, this craft was highly favored by royalty and nobility, making it a significant part of China's cultural and artistic heritage.
