I read exclusively on my kindle and then I buy the physical copy when I’m done. I don’t like buying physical books unless I know I’m for sure going to read it.. having a stack of books that I haven’t read gives me anxiety because I’m a mood reader and I can’t be trusted 😭
@@ursisfatima9675 I know what you mean about a big stack giving you anxiety. I’m the same way. That’s why I generally only keep 10 books on my physical TBR. I just bought (& received) lots of books for my bday and now I’m stressed with how long my physical TBR is getting 😅
I loved the Perfect Marriage. It’s my favorite book to recommend. Jeneva is writing a part two that will release next year. And this was definitely better than You Shouldn’t Have Come Here.

I don’t do a lot of re-reads but I’m doing one right now and it is definitely comforting to me (the book is Remarkably Bright Creatures). Love this video. As a married woman with 2 children, that is also a Christian. I do NOT enjoy spicy books either. I skip the parts just like you. I don’t need that in a story to enjoy the story.

Looks like a great lineup!! I absolutely loved Beartown. It’s heavy and emotional but so good. I really want to read One Dark Window soon! And I’m reading Yours Truly right now (loving it!) and am hoping to read more of her books as well, hope you enjoy The Friend Zone! i have tried giving sarah adams a fair chance by reading her other books after my initial dislike for the cheat sheet, i couldn't agree with you more about her female leads exhibiting childish behaviors that is meant to be seem 'quirky' and endearing. i just find them cringe and an immediate turn off
I immediately added the inheritance Games to my TBR. Seems like a good buddy read for me and my daughter. Magnolia Parks mirrors Gossip Girl to me. Which is my fave comfort show 😆 I didn’t go in thinking it’ll be a good romance tho because I got feedback from a lot of bookish friends about this one. Plus once I Realized it really was like the show, I knew that wasnt gonna end happily. 😂 Me and Bridget 🤝🏽 . This could be us was amazing!!!! 5 star read for me.

Like what I mean is I saw a TikTok about her giving her books away that had smut in it. Do I have to do that as well I really don't want to becaur I skip them. And also I usually get a bad feeling when it comes to books like that I have no bad feeling about It.
@@cedricalindsay4362 I am personally making a concerted effort to read romances that are closed door. I think deciding to skip books or scenes with spice in them is a personal decision and based on whatever God has convicted you of. ❤️ I’m definitely trying to be more intentional about the content I consume, whether via books or tv or music, etc. I know skipping works for lots of readers especially in books where the spice isn’t important to the plot. I felt the exacttttt same way about magnolia parks! I would’ve ate it up when I was young and toxic lol not so much now being married and in a healthy relationship. But i suggest atleast reading the 2nd book Daisy Haites that’s what sold me and made me continue, then the 3rd book returns to magnolia and everything starts to make sense! It’s really worth giving another shot.
Most hate the 1st book of magnolia I liked it though them being so immature is not only due their age but also their so rich and they can do whatever they want and they raised themselves. A lot of ppl prefer the 2nd book daisy haites more but the third book there's some growth and them trying to be less toxic
Ok good to know! Yeah, I can see how their age and wealth could influence their behavior. I might read the second book when (or if) I recover from the first one. 💖
