hi sir, i have a small problem i did not find any solution to solve this problem, i installed Catalina i changed the sound by voodoohda 2.9.2 the sound is fixed, when i installed Monterey i have modified the sound by voodoohda oc as in the videos share in youtube still the sound is displayed digital-out (HDMI) after more than 10 restart the sound function but after another restart the sound does not work I have tried a lot of solutions but without success I updated for Opencore with kext still without success do you have a solution for this problem? I do not want to make updates in Monterey so that I do not fall into this problem my laptop HP 250 G3 notebook CI 3 4005 HD4400
after restart of my machine I can see only HDMI in sound preferences headphones missing ...some time it is coming sometimes it is disappearing ...solution plz
Men yo instalé monterrey si instalo voodoohda no detecta nada, si instalo applealc detecta el dispositivo pero no se escucha nada, la entrada de microfono parece que si recibe audio

Gracias. Me ha funcionado. Lo cierto es que llevo varios días buscándolo. No entiendo como AppleALC no lo trae integrado. Salvo por el prefPane que sólo te deja cambiar por qué HDMI sale el sonido, también sigue siendo un problema controlar el volumen de lo que sale por el HDMI. Lo realmente necesario es VoodooHDA.kext en la carpeta de /Library/Extensions Ahora toca probarlo a ver si no hay conflicto con el AppleALC que también lo tengo en el sistema por la Realtek ALC897. Gracias de nuevo, ya tengo sonido por HDMI.
No, es solo una solución temporal Ahora cambié a applealc, sin embargo no tiene salida de auriculares ni tampoco por HDMI. Si queres probar ese otro kext tenés que ir cambiando el códec en los boots arg e ir probando hasta que encuentres el que te habilite más entradas y salidas. Ya que para un mismo chip de audio hay varios codecs
Opencore BigSur 11.4, disabled SIP and installed to /L/E via terminal, allowed voodoo under security and rebooted. Then it worked. Nothing else worked.
@@Freak_You_Out It took some fiddling. Granted its not that striaght forward. In order to ensure that SIP is disabled, please set the below in your OC plist file <key>csr-active-config</key> <data>5wMAAA==</data>
No audio devices, in system report under extensions showing voodoohda..while booting the chime sound is there since starting.. any other config missing like enabling HDAS or patch ?
I don't use clover, but you can check here (www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/314406-voodoohda-297/page/20/#comments), there's where I got the solution. For what I see it's seems like is required to edit the config.plist adding the string and it's value.
