The mistake that OP made was, when the cheating skank first suggested that she be shared between two men, he should have started the divorce process, knowing the marriage was broken beyond repair. When you get a degree in education, it is for a specific subject area like, math, areas of science, social studies, and the like. You do not need a certificate to coach high school sports. Even non teachers can coach though rarely is that done. So the ice queen must have been a physical education major, and then she would have a minor in another subject area like English or History.
There is reason why a woman feels that she can do something like this to her man..Evidently she has discerned something in his character through her experiences with him that she can disrespect him and he would accept it..She has diagnosed him as loving her more than she loves him therefore being a real nice guy...As a result she is going to test him to see how far she can stretch the parameters of their relationship...

He had revenge it was the divorce and the knowledge of everyone important to them knew what she had done and the thought for the rest of her life that he had possibly been with other women and she couldn't say anything about it since they were divorced thanks to her behavior. The fact they got back together means they accepted what happened and decided that even though the trust was gone they were completely unable to spend the time looking for love since they had trust issues but while they don't completely trust each other they trust each other more than they trust others.
Why? Why the continued use of " night" , "intim"...etc. also...why? Can they not give a warning when they change perspectives? So hard to follow who is talking

There are some aspects that resemble my separation & divorce . When she wanted me out of her life and her 2 kids , it was very difficult for me . 5 months later I sent my Xmas presents by mail ( the Military posted me 2,400 miles away from the kids ) . Anyway my former loving and responsible wife opened every present , re wrapped them and put her name on the presents that were better than hers . Such a nice role model of motherhood !
First of all his parents could have had a D N A Test to see if there are any family genes in common . Then to make certain check the son’s D N A ! So this could have been resolved when the child was 1 month old VS 3 Yrs . Such a waste of time !
