This was my personal theme song as a bullied teen in the '80's growing up in a box just like all the other boxes in my neighborhood. Still gives me chills! It was so wonderful knowing that I wasn't alone feeling that way.
Comment in 2024... One of the best 5 minutes of my teenage years was ripping off the cellophane of 'Signals' and listening to Track 1: Subdivisions. It was the first time in my life that I felt a song understand me. That's silly of course, but every single person in the world with access to radio has That One Song that grabbed their soul by the spine. For me, it was Subdivisions.

Zoo tv era was what hooked me to U2. Always knew of them from the 80s but never caught on to them. There was just something so unique and exciting about Achtung Baby, plus the MTV coverage of the tour, grabbed me and pulled me in
I've been at many of their shows going back to the 70s. Mostly in St. Louis at the Arena. In 1990 something and what tour I don't recall. I purchased a single ticket and wound up in a mezzanine seat next to the left side of their stage. Very close to Geddy and looking straight down on Neil. I watched him work all night. Still remember that 30 yrs later. The Arena was demolished in the late 90s. Miss Neil too.
Is this version of Subdivisions slowed down ever so slightly from previous tours. I know they liked to tweek Limelight from tour to tour for something a little different

@@kevinharrah2260 cool,, I used to live in Iowa, out in the middle of nowhere,, my closest neighbor was about a mile away, Miss cranking my stereo and tell my pictures fell off the wall, spinning my albums on an old MCS with some radio shack Mach 3. Live in an apartment complex in Quakers field, I mean Bakersfield California, drowning out the earthquakes with Rush lol might as well, most of the world seems to have lost its mind.
