The Cáirde Mol channel was set up in memory of Michael Leydon (Micheál O Liodain as gaeilge) abbreviated to MOL. His video footage and documentaries focussed mainly on local events in his native Dunmore in North Galway.
Westport native Brian Keating now living in Dunmore also posts videos to the Cáirde Mol Channel with a definite Dunmore, Garrafrauns and an occasionally Westport bias .!

When I was a kid, my Dad Paddy Murphy from Church Street showed me the spot on Castle Street where the murder happened. I showed him this video today and he knew most of the people mentioned. He was so amazed to see this! Thank you for sharing this important story.
