could a fox have eaten the squirrel body after dozer de-tailed it?😂 ..apparently they're really neat in terms of not leaving anything behind! ..+, the side quests are the best!😂❤

The lipstick is great, and that crown is rockin'. I just tuned in due to algorithm suggesting this - I read Wings of Ebony and loved it! A while ago, I think when it first came out.

I love your chat about taking time and having a sustainable career without burning out for extended periods of time. I'm so excited to someday be published that I kept writing and revising and rinse and repeat. When I got to the query trenches, it slowed me down so much because they're sloooow. And now, I'm waiting on some feedback for that book and wishing I was already done with revisions to get back to the trenches, but I'm hoping to be much more thoughtful with these revisions. I have to take time. So much advice says to work on something else. I tried. My idea isn't ready and no other ideas are coming up yet. Which also leads me to think, if I constantly have a story working, I'll always be working. This is time I'm forcing myself to rest. Not physically. I can't accomplish nothing. There is housework and yard work to do. But my creative brain is getting a rest. I think that's a healthy approach and more sustainable, like you said.
omg i laughed so hard at the 'real g' word doc bit😂😂😂. (i'm the same as angela - word only; scrivener baffled me😂.) laughed again at the 'ho ho ho' bit at the end😂😂😂 great episode/conversation as always!
you're both on fire in this intro! i laughed so hard and also shed some tears. totally relate re. coming to a partnership with anxiety and taking a while to realize it's all good! lollll loved your gandalf-style "fiery beastie" catch phrase - so ingenious and also hilarious. and the "therapy" response cracked me up!😂 ..aside from that, i just wanted to add that it's totally understandable how you feel, angela, about socials. from what i understand these platforms actually try to make your brain addicted to using them - so it can be withdrawal to pull back, even though you feel inside that you sometimes need to. the only 'social' platform i'm on these days is youtube, and your podcast brings me so much joy, laughter, and calming vibes. it's so true what you say: "your vibe attracts your tribe." thank you so much for what you're doing together! you're both the soul of the pod!💖🐐🌱🪴 also, i totally understand how you feel about the place you're in with edits and reading the same ms over and over again. for all of us who don't know the story, we're sure it's going to be amazing and can't wait till it's out next autumn! so we're excited and here for it! anyway, love from canada!!!
hey melanie & angela, can i just say i love your conversations?!💖 oh, by the way, the quote you mentioned, melanie, was from mary oliver's beautiful poem, "the summer day".💚🦗
