Yes it is, just executed starting in HQ rather than from DLR. If you watch Levi Jones Leary talk about his Berimbolo, he comes up on top after the sweep but before inverting, and it’s the same damn move
The mechanics for the berimbolo and the truck are the same the main difference is the position is coming from but the so-called twister hook is used in both, the truck is just a modern name .
This doesn't look like a BJJ berimbolo but maybe on a fundamental level. When he dives in for the sweep, he grabs onto the opponent's leg instead of hooking with his own leg at least judging from the angle of the footage. Is there a breakdown that exists in Kosen Judo that can demonstrate this same move?
Looks just like the berimbolos I seen in BJJ matches. I assume you know that there are more then one way to do the berimbolo in bjj...lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xUZqj8srhlM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7TNFVWDbpPg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PYPD4Xqm48c.html
@@mongolchiuud8931 All those videos you listed involved the top guy hooking with one leg and placing the foot behind the opponents knee or calf. I guess it's nitpicking on my part and in the end it's the same move but done slightly differently.
@@graciederangementsyndrome3669 Nice try troll. BUt with all techniques their are different variations. Berimbolo can be done from top or bottom even the side. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xUZqj8srhlM.html ru-vid.com?search_query=berimbolo+variations Cheers troll
+Renzi Hu We didn't produce the music. Buddhism has been practiced in Japan since 500 AD. Not sure what relevance is to the music? Not good music for this video?
