So to make a long story short. Pigeon racing has been in my family for over 5 generations. My grandfather got me in to it when I was around 7 yearls old joining him on the loft and stuff. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away June 20th of 2017. After his passing my father and I decided to pick up the family tradition and start racing pigeons aswell in his honor. So that's where we're at now and I decided to make videos about the whole adventure.
That's my story I'm sure any of you reading this have stories as well and I would like to hear about them.
Anyways thanks for reading I hope you enjoy my channel. Goodbye.
Hi all. Just back from a cruise to Norway from Southampton Uk and after leaving Copenhagen on MSC Virtuosa I noticed a racing pigeon walking around the deck and when we docked again in Zeebrugge the pigeon was still on board. He / She looked really healthy. I managed to get a ring Id by taking photos and it was BE 22 ...111637. Not sure if the pigeon was still with us when we arrived back in the Uk on the 22/06/24 though.

any tips for getting them off floor without totally spooking them?? got great recall at moment with youngbirds but few younger floor peckers seem to be keeping some of older ones down on floor. thanks
